Inscribing for FvS

Ok, I'm going to ask a dumb question, but why do I not seem to have the ability to inscribe spells to my book?

FvS dont have a real spell book they just have a spell list like sorcerers only wizards can inscribe spells

1. Clerics know all spells for their level

2. Wizards can learn all spells for their level and inscribe them

3. sorcerers, bards and FvS have a limited number of spells known. and can change one of them for a price at a trainer once every three days.

4. rangers and paladins have a limted number of spells known but can freely chose from their list which them have memo'd at and tavern or rest shrine.

Thanks, I've never played a sorc, so this is the first time I've seen the mechanic.

No problem on the plus side Sorc's and FvS get more sp then wizards or clerics.
