So after x-amount of time downloading new mod (was playing Wolfenstein while waiting anyway so it didin't feel that long), I made my first toon in Cannith
access were limited as if i'm a new player altogether, 28 pt'ers, no drow, no tutorial skipping, etc, etc.
so i figured there's going to be a lot of favored souls and builds that run off on Drow, I ran for WF wizzy again
I must say, it's REALLY refreshing to be a newb again
scrounging up everything you can carry for whatever gold you can stash up but only to spend them all in one go restocking for stuff!
also didn't have to worry about people expecting uberness and to have certain minimum lvl of gears at the ready
so i ran in a group with 1 barbarian, 1 bard, 2 rogue, and 2 wizzy (i'm one of them) and had a blast doing hard/elite on korthos! not only did we have to watch out a lot more than usual due to lack of healing abilities, but lack of decent gear made us use whatever geographic advantage we can get
oh, and it sure didn't take long for SOMEONE to find me on there

I agree I really enjoyed running on Cannith. It was nice to see level 5 as the highest level logged on in the who list. I just wonder how long it will take someone to get to 20

Agreed it was a very enjoyable day on Cannith. It reminded me of when the game launched over 3 years ago. I even managed to see a few players running around the harbor cursed. Too bad it wears off now.
Wow someone found you on Cannith. Sheesh you just can't go anywhere nowadays without recognition.

After finding many of the names I wanted had already been jumped, I decided to peacefully expand on my home server instead. Bought two slots, 30 points from 3rd one.

surprisingly alot of the names I had hoped to get, I got. A few where eaten by the mob that had a whole day jump on me; but eh, wife wouldn't let me skip work for DDO, at least not yesterday, LOL
