Thanks for doing this... I would definitely be interested in running whatever raids you are leading. I'm a new player who has been trying to grind out the last few favor points to unlock the 32 point build. Another group was kind enough to help me get through Twilight Forge on elite, and it was a blast (hazing included.)

If you post something in advance (when and where) I'll make it a point to try to be there.

I'm ready to go on VON and Tempest Spine, and my timer runs out early tomorrow on Twilight Forge. I could probably get flagged for Demon Queen in short order (already have Chains of Flame) but I am not particularly close to getting flagged for Reaver's Fate.

Dude i see it this way if i can atleast get some new players to exp the fun of raiding an get an idea of the mechanics of some of the raids i for see them throwing up lfms not scared to try an fail then win in the old an new raids.

Also i have alot of making up to do so i see this as a running start.
I remember the days when i didnt know what was going on an had to work it out i wasnt given much of a hand so i feel giving a hand here will only do good things to boost the commuinty spirt.

Yea I generally fund all the elite raids I run as well.

Last week did a good dragon, DQ, reaver, Shroud and Hound, all with little to no cost to the clerics.

All raids are quite doable in pugs given khybers high qulaity of players. Some have basicly requirements to see any kind of good sucess rate tho:
Mod1-4 raids: All real easy for most any pug now given there low lvls compared to what we have, even with no resource cost
Shroud: Generally can make it happen with no mana pots, just some heavy scroll usage given 3-5 strong tanks and a dedicated scroll healer each.
Hound: Needs several key classes that can handle certain roles much like Titan, and a flaweless execution.. But that doesn't mean you can't take a few puggers who aren't very familiar with it along and still win.
VoD: This is the only one that really has a rather high requirement of skill, gear and resource investment. It's ultra difficult to pug for that reason. You pretty much must have 3-6 people that you know can handle the key tasks before you can pug many spots. I beat it a bunch of times with a mix of players from many guilds... But I never really considered any of them a pug being I always knew 90% ofthe players in the group.

After all the crazy s*** I've seen posted on the forums about Cavern, I was always kind of scared of him! I joined an elite Hound that he ran one night and I ended up getting called on to main tank which made a little pee come out because I was so nervous, but it ended up going so smooth - better than some norm runs I've done.

Of course, don't mix up my cavern with Cavern's cavern.

Hi,

i just want to say that i like your idea a lot.

Since i've been playing for 2 years+ over on the european servers, i don't think you could call me newb,
but since im still pretty new on Khyber and am still grinding for my 1750 favor i would really appreciate it
if you would take me along on some elite raids.

My current guild is pretty small and doesn't raid a lot, let alone on elite.
So, if i'm on and youre trying to get a grp together, just send me a tell (Quinterion lvl16 cleric)

I would just like to say you guys all rock out!!!!

The more people i can get amped for this the better an we can all start as of the 23rd when my holiday finishes.

i see this aas a positive step not only for me but for the server as a whole.

Why you ask cause if we have old helping out the new we will all have a whole bunch of new on the other side of mod9.

So what can we do well....

My idea works as i start an elite raid then someone else starts one that is all pug win or loose the group bond an have fun the main idea of the game right.

well in the end the momentem i am trying to build we will have half the server wanting to help out noobs that come in an also have alot of fun doing it.

I will take people as they come also the only thing that will happen is maybe 1-3 of my guildies may be in a raid at any one time so we have a smooth sailing ship so for the new new peeps they enjoy the victory an see alot less fail no pun intended.

p.s gawna you should never judge a book by it's cover even if it is written in russian sometimes...

That reminds me of our Abbot raids,aways pugging and aways great. You opening those to the server as well? Would be nice to pug it somethimes makes it more interesting
