Just Join For Elite Raids

Ok i am offering Elite Completions for no cost to you just turn up an enjoy the game.

I understand that certain partys might take offence to this but i am trying to bring back the fun here not charge you guys to run raids.

p.s i will run all my clrs i have 4 of them through raids so to help out others that may have clrs that are not as well off an what not.

anyways let me know your thoughts on this guys an girls pls.

it would be good if you an me could get together an run some of the new players that will be coming through in the old an new raids give them a fighting chance to hang around ddo just an thought i guess upto you though dear.

No not that i have known of aussie here was just thinking of charging people for raid completions i guess.

My idea is not to do that an run elite so new people can get an idea of the raiding an yeah learn from experienced players like aussie an myself

While there's no charge for elite raids, it's still always good form to donate either some plat, heal scrolls or major pots to the clerics.

Great idea - good luck with them and maybe I'll join in if I see them.

I am absolutely bored out of my skull and we have been trying elite raids lately to shake things up. Problem is getting people to listen, as can happen in any PUG group - but in an elite raid of course it is deadly.

We tried an elite VoD last night, strategy to use a wf tank - repeatedly ASKED THE CASTERS TO GET RECON SCROLLS -
but they didn't. As we saw the caster's sp bars decreasing at unacceptable rates we simply called it quits rather than waste everyone's time and resources.

Ugh. So great idea - but I will ask here for people to PLEASE LISTEN as you can't ride coat tails through elite raids - everyone really needs to hold up their end.

Well... you can to some degree.. on my home server we dragged our guild leaders lvl 10 monk through an elite hound as he had no one off timer ,and we were doing elite runs as a send-off for a guildy who was quiting the game. Laughing at him as he repeatadly got pwn'd by renders was the best part of the raid (and we had no problems completing).

listening doesn't hurt though...

My bard on your server needs some elite completions.. I hate grinding low level quests for favor, and I need to open up 1750 so I can roll a second alt!

I hope you're careful about your investment in this project, Slashh. I have visions of you getting a bunch of new players in your Elite raids, having them go poorly as a result of their ignorance, and getting frustrated with everyone because of your new 'open door policy.'

Dude i see it this way if i can atleast get some new players to exp the fun of raiding an get an idea of the mechanics of some of the raids i for see them throwing up lfms not scared to try an fail then win in the old an new raids.

Also i have alot of making up to do so i see this as a running start.
I remember the days when i didnt know what was going on an had to work it out i wasnt given much of a hand so i feel giving a hand here will only do good things to boost the commuinty spirt.

btw the way

Cavern,Slashh,Sakurra,Diabolos,Sillverrose,Asassin , thats will be the main ones u will se run i have some lowbies here an there so just again heads up so u know whats where an when.

That is the sad part - people were asked if they needed resources lol!

Goes to show that sometimes no matter how slow you go, no matter how specifically you spell out the instructions - it just doesn't matter!
