How do you upgrade Trial accounts into paying accounts?

There is no option to do so on my Turbine Account, even after adding a credit card. And the Buy Now option from the Launcher doesn't work.

Did they really bring back Free Trials, but not the option to upgrade them into paying subscriptions?

I was kinda hoping it was taken down to fix some problem with upgrading to a normal account, but no luck.

Ok I got the awnser from Tolero and I'm posting it here for you guys:

Try going through the Turbine Store method, here's the link for it:

Keep in mind that right now the version in the Store includes having to pay for the game client, whereas when we go to free to play there's no price for the game client any more. But if they want to get into the Stormreach version of the game until DDO Unlimited arrives, that's the way to go.

I'm in the beta and am downloading the high res version of the trial. I may have missed something here; but am going to ask my question anyway. Does the inability to pay for the game at the end of the trial mean we can no longer subscribe monthly and become a VIP member? Only those that were already paying monthly have that privilege? Thanks for your help folks

You can upgrade to VIP anytime, it's just that right now, we're still under the old system untill Unlimited is released. Look up my post up there with the reply from Tolero.

I apologize in advance - but for the life of me I'm at a dead end here. I have a beta account. It's attached to my Turbine account. I downloaded the Stormreach client. I now want to activate the trial on it - just so I can upgrade right away. It's giving me no way to do this. It says that my DDO EU account is inactive and I have no way to upgrade it. I tried to purchase the digital download, but it's apparently not working now either. Anything I can do here - other than just sticking with the new account I created to DL the Stormreach client?

Edit - Dang - okay, so I can't even upgrade to VIP now, even if I wanted to as there are no offers currently. For the life of me I don't understand why the don't want my (our) money. I wholly understand I'm not getting the 999 extra points - just wanted to start now. Pretty flimsy business model if you ask me. Oh well, their loss - can't understand for the life of me someone trying to hand you money, only to sit there and turn it away...

Same problem here. Signed up for the trial which will be over in 4 days. Then what? I would like to subscribe just to go on, but no, I guess I have to wait until Sep 9 - that's not a good service.

I've added links to the main announcement because there was some confusion about where the digital download was, but I thought I should also clarify this:

If you happen to run across old Stormreach boxes for sale (like say you find some at a local gaming shop), please be sure to double check whether it is the US or European Stormreach version. I have seen European box copies in the states for some reason (in the great lakes states in particular). It can be confusing because the abbreviation I've seen for DDO Unlimited popping up is sometimes "DDO EU" but this is also the same nick-name used for the European services. So when someone says they have a "DDO EU" copy, please verify whether they mean "DDO Europe" or "DDO Eberron Unlimited" because the European boxes are not compatible with the US servers.

Wait till Sept 9th when the F2P is active or go to store.turbine.com pay $15 (get the code login to your account at myaccount.turbine.com put the code in select your trial and you get 30 days paid which means you are VIP and get to play Unlimited on Sept 1st and all the VIP Stuff)

Being a British dude I probably have a Euro copy so some clarification on this would be nice, in what way aren't they compatible and umm, what's the reasoning behind it?

The european version of DDO is managed by Codemasters (here) they have different servers, different billing systems and different accounts - they just share the same codebase (although they sometimes get patches a bit later)
