Um didnt someone just trade with you the other night?? For the one that you needed??Have I not given you tomes, items, plat ..etc before?? Boy dont come in here having that tone with me! lol Funny because I KNEW once I posted that I would get lip fron you lol. I thought you had yours already and a tidbit of info that you didnt know....I mentioned that I needed a +2 dex tome a while back for my ranger/monk/ftr and it was in my mail before I got home that evening. Dont ya think it would be nice of me to return the favor since he needs one? Sheesh lol

Oh and you are never on your higher lvl toons so how are you ever going to pull any? When we do quests we always do at least hard..you're just never around. Get off the lowbies and run with the big boys and girls sometimes...raids, quests..you might pull some.

TWF comes with just being so many ranger levels no matter what your dex so what are you requiring this for?

For whatever reason it is....I thought id offer either way since he was generous to give me one before.

ummm.. dunno then... I was under the impression that base stat requirement for twf is a 15 dex... but if it comes for free on the ranger then hell....sweet. my 14 base should do me fine then... or should i re-roll

my dorf has 18 str, 14 dex, 20 con..... 10 wisdom others are 8's

Um im not a uber tank builder but I think you may wanna re-roll? You wont be able to cast ranger spells with your wisdom being that low. You need at least a base of 14 to cast lvl 4 spells right? Dont quote me on the exact wis stats for the lvl of spells but I know you def need a higher wis.

it had a 10 wis as well......

but hey he is stil on snowy side.. no problem to re- roll him...

I have spent some time looking through the ranger section for builds as wel as the request a build thread and have not really been able to find the build.. but I am sure it is there just need to keep looking..I Am not in a hurry though.... I just need a build that fits the equipment i have.. I have been saving up dwarven axes for like 3 months now..

My dear friend you should be very interested in casting ranger spells....barkskin especially..not to mention FOM later on along with a few others if you take that many lvls of ranger.

Wow that was a great guilt trip, thanks for making feel bad for screwing with you. jeeze. FYI, I currently don't "need" any tomes. There are a few I could use though.

Settle down beavis...all your saving up isnt a waste of time. It's still going to be a dwarf and he's still going to be a TWF. You just may want to shift some stats around. I have a few tanks..but I was helped with the builds as I am the cleric/caster builder. I've always raised my strength up when I lvl..my ranger is a str based ranger/ftr. ill talk to you in game if I ever catch you on.

I've three rangers - none dwarf - yet much the base numbers remian close for what you're looking for in a str build... Your numbers are quite usuable as is.

Caine raises good point, be rangers are not offensive casters thus 10 is not so bad a wisdom as eventually you tome it and with item you're sporting 18 (only need 14 for all spell access - items included), Think most rangers would agree with me sweet spot be somewhere in 10-12. Even if considering 2 levels monk this amount is still a decent AC bonus.

Always start with rogue if splashing rogue... also I like min int 12 when doing so.

Not neccessarily maxed str be optimal as I do know some pretty potent dwarf ranger builds with a 16 str base and they make up on the feats/enhancements.

Furthermore, it is not like I haven't given you stuff in the past as well. I seem to rememeber giving you a set of +5 mith FP for an intimi tank you never built. Those dont fall from the sky like tasty hams you know. :P

Yea, I think I started my rangers out with a 12 wis and ate a +2 tome...im lucky I have someone that figures all that stuff out for me...I just make the toon and lvl her up and get tips from my other along the way. Thats why I didnt want to be quoted on anything about a ranger build .

Irish speak? Americans have an accent and speak funny, I do not. - well not really - havin' dilemma all the time... cause am slow and have to digest things then spit out what I be meaning so you understand. Simple phrases normally used misconstrued on either side. Rift told me the other day 'bout a friend's holiday in Dublin while there be on a golf course, Upon a green a gentleman advised “mind your way.” Which Rift’s friend (American) was too foreign to understand be it meant “be careful.” When explained his friend touted “Oh, you mean the green be fast.” Taken rather silly … after all, greens do not run.
