Some of my guildies and friends from Khyber have some absolute horror stories of a couple of pug shrouds they have been in on Thelanis. One of these shrouds was a 155 minute shroud that a friend had joined. I jokingly asked if he got the opportunity to watch a movie during the shroud (this is literaly 7 times longer then many of our shrouds on Khyber). We may have to run a few more shrouds with several of my guildies just to alleviate their suffering. To be fair one of my guildies had a good experience in an elite vod so their experiences are not all bad.

let me just say i have a LIFE you know a REAL LIFE and when it comes to doing the shroud i don't have the time to just sit around and watch other players do the work, but for the puzzles, i'm "********" can't do any of them reaver or other wise, but i try to help the best i can, i'm not UBER or even great but i'm good, ok, just good at being a fighter. This is a great game for some of us but i don't have time 'you know a job' in my day/night to be uber but maybe someday it might happen 'maybe' so you uber ppl out there you might want to help some of the new guys/gals so they stay and buy some of those things you have on the AH.

    Pug anythings...

I was at about 300 Completes to 3 failures a few months back.

Then all the sudden things started to go bad. On pure pug shrouds I'm now at about 80% completion only, opposed to mostly friends and / or guildies at 99%.

This stands true for other raids as well.

I was on 2 hounds on the weekend and they both failed???

The first one was on elite, but the odd person was doing their own thing and it got away from us... but I've only failed on 2 hounds before.

Then we are on another PURE pug on normal and we failed. I was playing my cleric and the other cleric was out of mana about 3 minutes in, so I was trying to keep the dogs up and people as they were dying for unknown reasons (they were wandering around the outside and / or bringing aggro to the middle.

    I was like.. ummm... ?

The communication and quality of the avg team has really gone down in the past many months.

I don't know if it's a lot of solid people leaving the game to be replaced by not so solid, or people are caring less and becoming apathetic to trying and focusing, or something else, but it's getting silly.

I hadn't seen a raid failure in so long, I didn't even know how to respond.

Although, I usually run with guilds I know and respect well, or make my own teams.

This happens nowadays when I pug... way too much.

But, what are you going to do?

Pug and hope and take your chances or stick with the same people all the time, those who know what they are doing inside and out?

In order to get onto teams as less and less are posted, we pug more.

In order to meet and maybe help out newer people, we pug more.

In the end... I pug and hope for the best and if it happens, I smile and move on. If it doesn't work out well, I move back to teaming with friends and guilds I know will ensure a completion.

It's all a matter making a decision on what you will expect and accept.

There are lot of new players on thelanis. The elite players keep to themselves mostly.

This reminds me of a certain "doctor" I saw looting chests in my party the other day while the others were just all fighting away.

    *sigh*

Lots of us have jobs and a real life. Running water rather than looting isn't very difficult. As for puzzles, there is no excuse for not being able to do them:

ya and this why you never get invited back to any succesful group that can complete the shroud raid.

My moto your first shroud cant solve your puzzle no bigy let me help you here a link to the solver for next time

2nd shroud run need help no biggy u lost your solver link let me get you a new one

3rd time still can't solve your puzzle sry mate this last time your too lazy to solve your own puzzle we're to lazy to accept you on our next run.

you can go run the shroud with the rest that refuse to solve there own puzzle thinking someone else will do it for me se how far u get how much time u waste.

Time it takes you to give a pethetic excuse why you cant solve your puzzle could of dl a puzzle and solved it already

You're one to correct someone's grammAr.

And I'd love to know what your "real life" entails. Surely, your "real life" job can't require anything above a 1st grade reading level...especially if you can't figure out puzzles that contain simple objects and colors.

If I give you a coloring book, will you stay inside the lines?

That was the kind of run on sentence our first grade teachers would have spun their heads around 5 times attempting to understood what was said, before they beat us senseless in hopes they could correct the disorder or knock that demon right out of us.

I guess this is a sad case of home schooling in the basement at mom and dads.
