The googles and napkin are too difrent issues really. I would have been suspicous of a paladin rolling on the napkin. The googles on the other hand could really be of benefit to nearly anyone.
As you and HSC are pointing out, the goggles are a little less clear. As for me, I'll pass them off to the rogue, if there's only one in party. Or make it a rogue only roll. But a S/B fighter looting a Splitter with 4 casters that need it, Pali taking the napkin, or a cleric taking madstone boots. That's just a personal request not to be brought along on future raids.
If in all this craziness, you mess up, take the wrong thing and or are conflicted and feel pressured into making a choice that's not good. No biggie. But that's different.

Well what HSC just said, and that we have a new "Class of the Week" splash page. Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but it sounds fun.
Using this method to distribute loot is worthy of a /Squelch add *. That way, I'll never be confused by their rolls, again.

Only one piece of loot drops per person. I'm only talking about loot that drops for me, the max count of that will always be 1.
If others want to stick around to do similar things, fine, but I'm not switching the loot over until I'm certain that it will go where I intend it to.
So as I said, yes, you can require the winning roller to take the loot. Or, to avoid wording technicalities, how about this rephrasing: "One can ensure that the winning roller is the only person able to take a piece of loot".
Well after hitting 200 +1 tomes in 4 weeks. I've ran out of things to do. So I thought keeping some nonsense going to compete with the "Why my Cleric won't run with you" thread might be entertaining. Granted that thread is 2 years old and still gets periodic mileage. But I had to set my site high.
I doubt I've got the muster to mutter inanely for 2 more years on this thread, but we shall see. I guess my only saving grace is that I'm only trolling the forum that I run on.
Heh, here's one of the quotes from Weyoun's bloodstone thread. I thought I made it pretty obvious I was joking
Although.... I did it find it funny that the guy who excludes people because they don't have the perfect build or equipment (i.e. not min/maxed) was running multiple characters through the Shroud without mineral II and a bloodstone... and therefore doing subpar DPS...Roger that on most quests... However, DPS on the Pit Fiend is purely a function of gear. You're lucky people assumed that someone with a Legion tag already has a bloodstone and dual Mineral II weapons when you joined a Shroud raid
(note all the smiley faces - I'm just messing with you throughout this thread)
Sure he's a good player... I'm sure he wasn't "carried"... I think he's just mad at me because of that one spaghetti incident... Dude, I swear I didn't know she was your Mother!

Dude, at the time of the original post, you were BUYING bloodstones for capped characters... I gave you some **** (good naturedly too - I couldn't make it more clear I was just messing with you), and then and now you freaked out like I questioned your manhood...
You really take this game seriously don't you?
And you can't even take a good Momma joke? Yeesh...
