Slightly off topic, but the current speculation on character re-spec is that tomes will be retroactively applied since the game does not currently keep track of when the tome was consumed. This is why you can hold off for a +2 or +3 DEX tome then go back and have Fred swap out your previous feats for Imp. and Gtr. TWF.

Will this apply to skill points and a consumed INT Tome? My guess is yes.

I will be holding onto my 5 +2 int tomes for about 6 months.
By then they should be rare enough to earn a small fortune.

This is my plan as well.

I think the big hole in our plans is that everyone who will be able to afford the small fortunes will also have been a plan participant.

Yes but knowing most of "those people" I expect them to continue to worry about having the "most uber1337" build possible.
I also expect most of them to reroll, which is where we come in.

It also sounds like they might be handy for leveraging fresh muffins as well.

They're going to lose value as they're going to be level capped at 7.

Plus the influx of players will just mean more will be rotting on the auction house.

At least in the existing lama build that isn't true, old tomes are grandfathered, thus he is right, they will go up in value.

I'll give someone the 100plat that my Lvl 2 Wiz. has acquired so far for a +2 Tome. Is that fortune small enough?

"You r MOM is a Tome."

Basically, everything other than a reasonable answer.

Another reason i"m glad I've found DDO.
No worries. That stuff will be available with the new mod.

Not for nothin, but my char has nothing that wasn't "earned" (haven't received any handouts). As a wizard I sell almost all loot I collect & as low level, there's not to much need to invest yet.Not offended - just sayin'.
