    Default Acid damage?

Can you stack the damage from acid spells? In other words if I have something in an acid fog can I hit it with acid arrow and get damage from both?

No, they don't stack. However, if you cast another acid spell of the same type as before, the duration is extended based off of the new spells duration. Which isnt really helpful as it actually wastes some of the previous spells duration.

Acid arrow and acid fog don't stack? Really? You certain?

(I honestly don't know, it just doesn't seem right... firewall and scorching ray/fireball stack; poison and cloudkill stack, etc)

Even though it makes sense that they would stack, sadly they don't as they are both typed the same way in DDO.

It will stack with Burning Blood's acid portion, however. I'm not stating that is the saving grace, that the spells are uber, just that it does.

So they do stack in terms of what the OP was asking.

No you can't cast 2 acid arrows and stack their damage.
Yes you can cast an acid arrow and an acid fog and they suffer damage from both.
I'm fairly certain I've seen this happen before.

    True.
2 acid arrows will not stack

    False.
Acid arrow will not stack with acid rain or acid fog.
If you examine the target it will say they have both affecting them.
But they will only take damage from the stronger spell.
If you cast acid arrow and then acid rain, they will only take damage from acid rain (because it is stronger then acid arrow)
Once the acid rain wears off, they will start taking damage from the acid arrow (because it has a longer duration)

Alright so they give acid spells low damage, low utility due to the extended time it needs, and you can't even put more than one different spell on the target.

    Wow.

Well I guess it could be worse, it could be firetrap.

    To summarise it in netspeak:

Trying to DPS with Acid Spells is "da suxx".
