    Default Top Ten Driving Songs

    Top 10 driving Songs...

As I was driving home the other day, I got to thinking....
I didn’t really have a set of driving tunes set up as a playlist on my I-Pod.
So I started thinking; what are the “Must Have” tunes are for a Driving Songs Playlist?

Whether it is Pulse Quickening; Heart Pounding, Blood Pumping hits...
    That make you want to push the accelerator through the floorboard;
Or a mix of Mix of gear grinders and mellow Tunes to help
get you through the gridlock of the daily commute...

    Here is My Top ten.

    What are yours?

1). Radar love – Golden Earring
2). Through the Fire and the flames – Dragonforce
    3). Black Betty – Spiderbait
    4). Mississippi Queen - Audioslave
5). Operation ground and pound- Dragonforce
    6). Slow Ride - Foghat
7). Don’t pay the ferryman – Chris De Burg
    8). I can’t drive 55 – Sammy Hagar
9). I bleed it out – Linkin Park
10). Life is a Highway – Rascal Flatts

Now I know I may have missed some great ones
But I am still building my song list on my I-Phone.

So these are based on what I have available currently...

I will gladly add any great ones I missed so I can revise my list...

    Have fun!!!

I don't like Nickelback all that much, but that one song 'Animals' can sure make me drive REAL fast.

Other than that, throw in some old Metallica and I'll break every law on the road.

As far as driving in the country on a Sunday goes - Johnny Cash FTW

There are a few songs I like to listen to as I drive, but some tend to get me into trouble for speeding:

The Prodigy - Smack My B**ch Up. Driving home from Vegas through the dessert, this song makes the miles fly by fast!

Motley Crue - Kick Start My Heart. My first speeding ticket was for 118 mph in a 55 mph zone. This was the song playing in my car when I got it.

Saliva - Click, Click, Boom & Dope Ride. Power, power, power & a hint of road grit.

Kid Rock - Bawitdaba. Gives you just enough attitude to deal with downtown traffic.

Metallica - Fuel. Gas pedal becomes a toggle switch with this one. You've been warned.

Bob Marley - (anything). Keeps the speed demons at bay when traffic forbids forward motion.

Edit: I forgot a biggie (for me at least)...

Crystal Method - Vegas (album). This CD has been in my car for over 10 years now. Best soundtrack to a roadtrip ever.
