    Default DDO Korea Season II

Since 2007 fall, our people started settling down in G-town. How lucky we are kind and lovely players helped us to be one of your majorities.

DDO Korea is a guild for Korean players. There are no specific requirement other than cultural or language types.

As a guild leader I suggest to our guildies to join another G-town guilds if they can, because I believe that game is for fun and having good relationships with variety of people is the most important.

Our raid loot system is simple, but some misunderstandings might happen when you join DDO korea raids. So let me introdce our raid system shortly here. It is called 'Debt system'

    - Raid loot belongs to the owner if they have no debt yet
    - If the original owner do not wants to take it, its up for roll between people who wants in exchange of a dept for it. Winner takes the loot and owes a debt to the original owner.
    - If you have a debt to somebody, you have to give your raid loot to obligee whenever he wants.
    - If no one wants to owe a dept for a raid loot, original owner will handle it as he wants(open roll maybe).

This is why sometimes we make rolls for guildies only, and sometimes for everyone.

Some photos of our proud members HAPPY DDO EVERYDAY!!!

Interesting Debt system. Makes you think twice before rolling on mediocre raid loot if you may auto lose better raid loot down the road. Have you had many disputes with it?

Yay, a lot of dispute. This system was made late 2007, by our officers. And still working fine.

Good to know before joining that I'm not going to have any shot at decent loot. Much better than being told after you win a roll that it was only for guildies.

I can also adopt a policy of only allowing other PUGs to roll on my pulls!

Lets say, that you just finish a Titan, the ring drops under a casters name, lets say that he has 3 guildy tanks in the group that want it, in guild chat he tells them to roll for it, the three of them roll for it, are you going to roll because you think that if you win you should get this item, even tho he didn't say you could?
Jeets said he wouldn't tell Turbine. ;(

I feel if your rolling for bond loot and you only want your 3 guildys to roll on it you should of done the raid with your guildys....... WHY pug a raid if your can't share the loot!!!! Come on its the titian not VOD on leet... i've 3 manned the titian a few times cuss we don't want to share the loot..... part of the greed I guess......

I would expect everyone in the group to have the same chance since everyone helped complete the raid.

Exactly. That's why we don't pug titan anymore

Maybe we need some kind of LFM code to indicate the loot policy of the guild running the raid (total pugs are different, I expect sorcs to pull chattering rings (+10 spot!) and WFs to pull armour in those) so everyone knows what they're getting into.

What's other people's view on guilds who'll take PUGs on raids and exclude them from any loot pulled by guild members even when they'd expect to be allowed to roll on anything the PUGs pull?

Maybe it only annoys me because my guild shares the loot with everyone in the group only to not get the same fairness when joining another guild's raid.

I've also run raids - this specific instance was a Titan - where you get to the end, put the item up for roll... and the guy who died a lot, wouldn't shutup and more hurt then helped wins the roll on the gloves that I put up for roll. A guildy commented after the run (cuz he's the quiet type) that he's had 40+ runs without them. If I could do it again, I'd just transfer the item to him because it all comes down to one thing:

Them who pulls the loot - decides what to do with it. I believe this is the overriding rule in all PUG raids unless specifically stated otherwise in the LFM.

I'll still PUG with DDO Korea anyday... their guild consistently take noobs and crud PUG's and beats the raid. I can recall a few hounds with them that some PUG'ers were flushing into 2nd round of beholders but we still won.

If you know of guilds that have this policy, then don't group with them. I mean, what's in it for you?

I think of it like this. You have something really spiffy that your best friend has wanted for a long time. Are you going to hook your best friend up, or turn around and give it to some complete stranger just because they rolled better on it?

It'd be like "Aww man, I Just won this Porsche in a contest, and I already have a Porsche and I don't need another, and I know you've wanted one forever and that's all you ever talk about. So I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll put this Porsche that you've always wanted up for raffle, you're welcome to buy a raffle ticket for it, but don't be mad if you don't win and I give it to this random guy that just showed up."

For me, the way I look at it is that if there is even 1 person in a raid but there are 11 that are in the same guild then that guild can not force people to follow and obey their guild rules. If I am not in your guild, I am not following your guild rules. It does not matter how many in a raid group are of the same guild, guild rules can ONLY be enforced on your own guildmates. Anyone suggesting someone not a guildie to follow those guild rules is flat out rude.

Now if a guild was to divide up loot to only guild memebers when they are all in the same PuG group, then it is only fair for those PuGs to NOT hand out or let that guild who has that policy from rolling on their raid loot. That guild should not be able to divide up their raid loot among guildies while at the same time hold their hands out for the raid items of PuG's they are grouped with as well. That is pure greed.

Um, this is the thread he started about his guild. Other people (myself included) came in to debate about loot policies. Fact remains that this is DDO Korea's guild thread and they are certainly within their rights to use it for guild announcements. You don't have to be a jerk about the OP using his own thread in the Guild forum to talk about...his guild *gasp*
