That does sound like a nicer way for it to have gone down. This is a game though and I don't think we need threads as serious as this just because one person forgot to apologize. No one was shot killed or robbed here.

I actually saw someone lose some loot this weekend in a very similar way. I believe it was verbally put up for role. 3 people rolled. The loot (glacier gloves) were then given to the sorc who rolled in the middle between two clerics. I totally support that decision. The person who put it up for role had incorrectly assumed that the sorc already had them. Some verbal apologies were made but it still stings to lose.

I also saw an evasion paladin loot the VOD full plate on sunday. That sure must have stung to the non-evasion fighters in the group. Way it goes - you'll see that loot again.
