    As just released:
Mordenkainen’s Disjunction (Level: Sor/Wiz 9) A powerful force disrupts magical effects on the target, removing ongoing spells that have been cast on a target. You must make a caster level check of 1d20 + your caster level (no maximum) versus 11 + the spell's caster level to remove a spell effect, and your target must make a Will save for each equipped item or all magical properties on them are temporarily disabled.

Yet another reason to have a decent WIS or somehow fit in the Force of Personality feat.

Just depends on the save threshold. A "one" will still fail...other than that we'll have to see how high they set the DC to see if more wis or fop is useful.

I notice a lot of people overlook unyielding soverenty... Sure, curing conditions is the cleric's job, but what happens when it's the cleric who's feebleminded? I swear by Paladin redemption too, but that will probably change if I can ever manage to pull a rez ring.

Oh, and when we hit mod 9, I think all of us pallies will have a very hard time taking all the cool things we want and still taking the prestige enhancements.

Wis as a dump stat? if I had to do it over I proabably would. But it would hurt a lot until I managed to get the right equipment and tome. Low wis is for experienced and well equipped characters only.

At the very least the DC will be 23 but I expect it will be higher for some of the elite mobs. I think this spell is going to be nasty... and fun!

Glad capstone is an enhancement bonus to damage and KoC will also be gear independant. Paladins are going to be able to still do some respectable damage even if under MD.

When I rolled my main back when the game was first released, I went by the PnP thought of needing Wisdom....so I went 18 It was a little overkill needless to say. Started off with (I think)
    Str 14
    Dex 8
    Con 10
    Int 8
    Wis 18
    Cha 17.

    Right now sitting at
    Str 24
    Dex 16
Con 15(?)---only have the dagger tooth belt as a con item right now
    Int 10
    Wis 26
Char 28 (still can take the Char III action point)

Wisdom should have been dropped to 12 or 14 and con raised up, but oh well.

    Spells that I have:
    Lvl 1
    Virtue
    Divine Favor---a must
    Prayer

    Lvl 2
    Angel Skin
    Resist Energy---a must
    Remove Para--never used

    Lvl 3
    Cure Mod
    Prayer

    Lvl 4
    Zeal---a must
    Death Ward

If I was the original poster, I would drop Restoration and take scrolls of it instead, opening up a lvl 4 slot.
