Sorta over the side of the cliff next to where the Warforged that gives you the Misery's Peak quest is standing. She's on the ice down there.

jump off the cliff towards the one quest and just walk the coast line. you'll run into him.

Cicic spawns Down the Bottom of the Hill by Amalgam.

If you are Standing with Amalgam in front of you and the Shrine to the right turn 90 degrees to the left and head to the cliff.
You should have the path to Misery's Peak to your left.

You should see a path down the Hill. Jump down, if you have a feather fall item or Follow the Path down the Hill and continue till you reach a small drop off.
there will be another explorer location to your left, but continue Straight and Cicic
will Spawn there if it is not Shy...

So I found the location where Cicic spawns (found a map that pin points it). But the darn thing will not spawn for me. And it's the only rare encounter I have left to get. Any ideas?

So back to the original reason I posted. Cicic, the rare encounter, does not want to seem to spawn for me. I have restarted the area countless times and run to the spawn point to see if Cicic will spawn, but I just can't seem to get Cicic to spawn. Has anyone had this issue before? It is the only rare encounter of the 3 I have not killed yet. I don't want to leave Korthos until I have it all done. So any help/ideas would be appreciated.

All of them show up for me if I go in there 3-5 times. You might just be unlucky. You can also return to get it, so going to the harbor and doing the solo quests and then going back would work as well.

Or die from the fall on the run that it spawns. Works either way.

I'm having the exact same issue! Very Frustrating! It's the only thing I have left to do in Korthos, and it will not spawn.

I left and went to Stormreach. I'm about to go back and try again. I'll let you know.

IE: Daeyxe, it is considered bad form to answer to a thread that has been inactive for 5 months. It usually isnt relevant enough to justify, and if the subject has relevance to you you might be better off starting a new thread.

That's a mighty hyperbole. If it takes you 15 min to get to the ice spider in korthos...

There's an easy trick to getting these nameds:

For the ice spider, run the "Sacrifices" quest, checking for the spider beforehand. Not there? Run the quest, making sure you take longer than 5 minutes. Instance resets. Recall to explorer. BLAM! you're right there to check him again. You can do the same in miseries peak, except I hate that quest. :-P

For the ice mephit, do the same thing, but in the Necromancers Doom.

For the named Sahuagin, do the same thing in the Stopping the Sahuagin quest. This one is a little farther run, but with a spring boost and exp retreat clicky it's not so bad.

My trick if you don't get them after running the quests on n/h/e: hop inside quest for appropriate named. Go do something else for 5 min. I personally play Mafia Wars. :-P Come back and check the named. Repeat as needed.
