THAC0 operates on the Ghallanda (formally Lhazaar) server of Dungeons and Dragons Online where we started as a small social guild. Since our conception in the spring of 2006 we have grown significantly into a diverse group with varying levels of ability and a player base that includes people from Canada, the USA, and Australia. We even have a couple of Brits in our ranks.

As corny as it sounds, THAC0 is more than just a guild in a game. The members of this guild are like a virtual family and thus we treat each other as such. Our guild is founded on the principles of mutual respect, cooperation, and encouragement. These are the values that all members are expected to cherish and foster.

In THAC0 we believe the best players are good people and not just power gamers. That's why we only recruit people who are willing to work with everyone else to improve both themselves and the whole team.

Recruiting:
Recruiting is being done on a case by case basis. All applicants must apply on the THAC0 website at www.thaczero.net.

Disclaimers:
THAC0 does not admit anyone under 21 years of age unless they have a parent/guardian who is also a member.

Guild Rules:
These are our simple guild rules:

1. Respect. This means no harassment, begging, or any forms of disrespect. No one is to be taken advantage of. Just like a regular family we won't always get along with everyone all the time, so if there is a problem or argument that can't be resolved please ask one of the Officers for help.
2. No Drama. This is a game. Games are supposed to be fun. We have a guild filled with a positive atmosphere. Please keep it that way.
3. Keep it clean in Guild Chat. This is an open chat channel and not all members appreciate profanity, dirty jokes, or other similar language. Those kinds of comments are restricted to Party Chat, /tells, and the "ACC" chat channel.
4. Help out when you can, but your gaming time is your own. Play what you want, when you want, with whomever you want.
5. Officers are our most trusted and experienced members of the guild. They are here to assist you whenever they can, but just like everyone else they are here to play and have fun. Please keep this in mind and give them the respect they deserve.

Just came back after a LONG absence. Just left WoW (dont know if that is a killable admission here) and just want to quest and relax. Your guild seems laid back and not raid mandatory. Sorta burned on raiding at the moment. Should I seek out a member and see about admission?

Well... You could always do what I did and sneak past security... Otherwise, let some THAC0 members you see know you're interested, and try to group with us often enough so we can get to know you. Other than that, there's not much else to say.
