Vs a non dr mob:
Does deathnip out damage a shroud heavy pcik? Assume that all the elemental damage hits. And you are using a bloodstone. On a 34 str bard with improved crit pierce.

I'd like to see the math on this for a 44 str barbarian too with increased crit range. I typically swap to twin deathnips for non-DR mobs and twin min2 hvy picks for all DR mobs, but I'm not convinced the deathnips win out.
Consider:
Crit range +2
Bloodstone
Power Attack

I am starting to think I might be better off going greataxes on my bard
The good thing is it will be WAY CHEAPER to get all his shroud gear. I really need to see what the capstone is gonna be for warchanters. Then i can decide if I am going straight bard or taking some fighter.

They're pretty much the same. Min II has a small edge IIRC (did the comparison a while ago). Of course that's assuming you have some kind of seeker item (e.g. bloodstone), otherwise deathnip wins.
