When the servers merged, there should have been five all new names created.

Xoriat's days were glorious and hateful. However, those days are done and cannot be recaptured. You cannot re-bottle lightning, and even with the rename it would not be the same. And I say this as somebody who loved and was vastly proud of Xoriat.

P.S. All caps is just inherently annoying to read, and no matter how good your point may be - I am always inclined to be against whatever is being said in all caps. Next time, turn off Caps Lock. Please.

I could care less what my server name is. Yeah, they should have come up with 5 new names. We all know Turbine doesn't do "obvious solution" very well. What I want is the Xoriat forum attitude and moderation back. You know, when people could joke and make fun of each other in jest without getting banned or their threads locked. The forums were more active and much more entertaining back then.

I find it interesting that the person advocating the change of name to a server that had a large population of rabidly ANTI-fairies~n~butterflies... does so using very rudimentary roleplay.

What part of Xoriat that isn't dead is kept in the basement, where nobody has to see it if they don't want to.
