Price Check: Blue, Black, and White Scales

Hey all,

The price on the AH is very high lately. I'm trying to figure out if the price is up because no one is running Tor, or if it's just people hoping to get lucky.

What is the plat value of each of the 3 different colors. And would you, for example, trade a dragon scale (any color) for a large bone, chain, or horn?

I am not sure exactly the going rate for scales these days, but it seems that the only scale with any real value anymore is the blue scale. For the most part there are better armors available now so I would be very surprised to see that they went up in value.

I've been watching scales as well and for some reason the value has gone from 20k plat to 25-30k plat now.

I don't see a giant need for them so a lower plat range and not quite 1:1 for larges. Blue is nice, White has it's moments but on the whole there isn't a desire to get a character all scaled out anymore. If you're looking for scales set up a trade list and set your own value.

id say 10k pp each for ne scale i wouldnt pay ne more then that if was in the market for some and thats what ived sold them for recently but thats just my opinion hope it helps
