Maximum ac for pure fighter?

It's as the title asks, I would like to know the max ac for a pure fighter. With descriptions of how you achieved it. Thanks.

ps - I'd post what I have but I'm too lazy, and I thought I was missing some stuff but apparently not.

There are couple of things that you need to know about the type of fighter to give a more accurate assesment of the max attainable AC.

1. Dex based or Str Based
2. GTWF or S&B

The two above choices will make a big difference in the gear type therefore making the max AC of each build type different. Maybe if you can give a little more specific data on what type of build that you would like the max AC for and we can give better idea for ya.

you can hit 65 as a 28 point human fighter. and i believe 69ish as a dwarven pallys with a ftr splash. ill talk to ya tomorow in game if ya cant find the links to cashery's dwarf intimidate pally build. for the 69. those numbers are self buffed of course. you can hit much higher with group buffs.

Spyderwolf has the following set up. you can hit 64 undispellable ac. 65 with haste.
izuall shouldnt have any problems doing the same.

goggles-queen goggles
helm-min 2
neck- wis 6
trinket-head of good fortune
cloak- queen cloak
belt-titan belt
ring 1- hound ring for sr 22
ring 2 -titan ring
gloves-queen gloves if zerging ,oob gloves if using PA
boots- madstone boots
bracers-chaosguards
armor- DT w/ resist 5,con6.nat armor 4 w/ armor ritual
weapon- insight 4 anyhting
shield- +5mts w/shield ritual

feats-dodge,CE


10 base
15 armor
4 dex
7 dodge(2 bracers,3 ring,2 from the rituals on armor and shield)
5 protection
4 nat
9 shield
6 feat (1 dodge, 5 CE)
4 insight

thats 64 undispellable ac

65 with haste.

1 level 12 ranger barks
5 level 15 pally
4 bard song
2 recitation
5 human vers 4 or fighter ac 4 boosts

thats 82 with perfect buffs

if ya make an air gaurd shroud item you can hit 83 with the random haste ya get since it stacks for the ac part.

then if ya tumble you can hit i think +10 with aps.so 93 ac

add 3 to all of the above numbers if your a dwarf and can max your dex out at +7 with dt armor and mithral tower shields.

so as a human fighter 93 ac.
and as a dwarf fighter 96 ac.
both very short times.
realistic ac is inthe 65-70 range sustained.

Nicely done spyder. And I guess I didn't really forget anything in my buildup, the way I figure I should have iz up to about 62 unbuffed. (; 63 if I get queen ring, 64 if I go for insight weapon(which probly wont happen, so ill just go for the insight on my armor)

Ok Let me take a hack at this MAX AC pure Fighter, you dont specfic race but you say max ac so DWARF it is....

10 Base
+15 DT Fullplate, get +4 nat OR lots of madestone boots
+4 Nat armor
+9 Mith Tower sheild
+7 Dex (TSM3, FAM3 DAM3, 24dex)
+1 Armor ritual
+1 Sheild ritual
+4 Insight Shroud Weapon
+2 Dodge Cayos Guards
+3 Dodge Chattering Ring
+1 Dodge Feat
+5 something Combat Experties
+5 Protection item
=67 AC Totaly unbufed
+1 haste pots
68 ac self buffed

+4 dodge bard song
+1 nat Ranger
+2 luck recitation
75 ac raid buffed

+5 Pally
80ac with a pally near by on said raid.

+4? Ac boosted
84 Ac short team on said raid

+4 OR more vr's gaints
88+ ac if said raid boss is a giant

All of the above while Fighting.... Ther is some tumbple **** but no self respecting fighter should be doign that **** stand and FIGHT hit them not dance aroudn them thats what the heavy armor and sheild are for

Just subtract 9 points of AC for the tower shield (and another -1 for the ritual) and you have the other two numbers.

-9-1+4Shield spell = -6 THF.
-9-1+4Shield+1TWF defense for -5 TWF.

Oh wow and I forgot another bonus in my post +1 parry bonus stacks with insightful bonus so +1 all styles. and the +4 insight bonus comes from DT sov rune bonus.

Yep it stacks and have been using it that way since shroud weapons came out.
