Default Yet another Barb GS question

I have a dual Deathnip wielding Tempest Barb - what do people think will be the best GS Heavy Picks for him?

Ordinarily I'd say Lightning II is cool, but I'm wondering if Mineral II is the way to go for when I run across high DR mobs that the Deathnips struggle against.

    Any suggestions?

When you actualy use DPS at end game, it's usualy a boss with high DR. Go Mineral II imo.

First up, I'd craft a Mineral 2 heavy pick and wield it in one hand, with the Deathnip in the offhand.

Later, if you acquire (or already have) a Bloodstone and a free trinket slot, grab a second Mineral 2 heavy pick in the offhand as well. In general, you'll find Mineral 2 + Deathnip superior to Mineral 2 times 2, but Mineral 2 times 2 plus Bloodstone is superior to both.

Mineral 2 is incredibly versatile - it's very good against everything (contrast to things like Lightning, or +/+/+ or fire/fire/fire, which are all a little better than Mineral 2 in some fights, but massively behind Mineral 2 in others - for instance fire/fire/fire is better than Mineral 2 by a modest amount in all boss fights in Prey on the Hunter, but is worthless in the Shroud and VoD, and mediocre against Sor'jek.
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

sorjek laffs at people wiht Lit2 ....

I'd go min2, kopeshes if you have the ONE feat for them, (wont need IC they come with free Keen), or Heavy pics if not.

Death nips perform OK compared to min2 kopeshes IF you dotn have any other seeker item, for shroud noraml but they gain most of there kick form crits and Sorjek will laff at them no crits and i belive 15 dr, (never not bypassed it soooo havent really tested, but liches are 15 blunt&magic normaly iirc).

All round min2 is the best weapon, make 2 of them to start if you want to go nuts later, there are all sorts of better options you can make fro specific stuff...
For trash mobs tripple pos or lit2 are great DPS, but so few trash mobs are realyl eficent to DPS fro a TWFer nowadays....

Wouldn't a fire/fire/fire blunt weapon be the best you could use against Sor'jek?
