I never tried to make a living at it... it's always been a hobby. However because of my REAL JOB, we've done ltos of things other bands wish they could do... videos, recordings, photo shoots, all sorts of stuff I have free access too....
Keeps it fun.
We've been paid for gigs, but we never really tried to do a touring sorta thing.

Touring, in a word, sucks. Unless you've got folks to schlep for you...you do it yourself and getting through the Rome airport with 3 guitars two amplifiers, two mixers, a case of mics, cables, effects boxes and other assorted **** just to do one gig at what would normally be a really cool Roman house on the outskirts of town before packing all the **** up to get on a train to go to 6 other gigs before finally getting back to your apartment in Paris whilst being paid enough, maybe, to afford the transportation much less the food....yeah....
