able to still pick up the extend feat even though technically he doesn't meet the wisdom 11 stat to cast 1st level spells? Just curious because I want pally for the saves and the spellcasting ability for extend to use with 2nd elven dragonmark. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Hmm, the Compendium doesn't actually list any requirements for Extend spell, and neither does the SRD. You should be able to take it, but if not, you could always just eat a +1 Wisdom tome.

I have a heavy multiclassed Warchanter with base CHA 8. He can only cast spells with the bard CHA-enhacement and a CHA item. His Extend-Feat is fine and he enjoys using it.

Just don a +1 WIS item and you are fine when you want to cast a spell. You dont even need to wear it all the time, just don it before you cast.

You dont need to start with WIS 10 if you only go Paladin 4 to enable you to take Extend. You can start with WIS 8 and take Extend even then. If you want to cast a measly level 1 spell ( when you get them in a multiclassed build imho not worth the effort any more) you could don a WIS item.
Which leaves you with 2 more point at charcter creation to invest into better places.

I have a WIS of 8 on my Displacement Fighter and Extend works fine. I usually don't wear a Wisdom item and have not had an issue with it.
