not a bad build but what are you going to contribute besides dps?

    intimidate - none
    consistent dps - none
    tanking - none
    trapsmith - none

with the new mod rumored to be full of undead, i dun see how you will be able to work there
If you want to know why...

barbarian,2-handed fighter, high str dual-weilding ranger, offensive minded sor, 2-handed paladin.

Rogues and the other classes can do good dps,but if you want pure dps, these are pretty much the best.

First, Power Critical is virtually useless for a feat, so you should dump that for something else.(Anything else, really) I'd also consider dropping your Dex down to an 18 and using those extra 6 ability points elsewhere.

Personally, I would consider dropping the two ranger levels. You can replace Power Critical with TWF, since you won't gain that from the ranger levels. By going 12/4 rogue/fighter, you could pick up Way of the Assassin II. If you dropped your Dex down to an 18, you could use some of those points to increase your Int. That would both increase the DC of your WotA II attack, as well as giving you extra skill points you could drop into Open Lock, Search, and/or Disable. Since you have so many skill points available, I'd at least put some into Open Lock, even if you don't actually go the Search/Disable route.

With that many levels of rogue, I wouldn't completely ignore your search/disable skills. Even if you don't put any enhancements towards them, I'd still consider at least keeping max ranks in them. You can always change the enhancements later if you decide you need them, but you'll always be stuck with the skills as they are.

i agree with freeman, that many levels of rogue and every party you will join will want a least a bit of rogue skills. with items, buffs and boosts you can still handle most every trap and lock out there without sacrificing any of your melee skills. this will give more to the parties you are in while letting you play the character like you want.

With that many rogue levels you dont need to give up any DPs to also be able to handly most traps. Just max out Search, Disable and Open lock through skill ranks, perhaps even Spot if you feel like.

You dont need to invest Feats, stat-points at character creation or enhancements into it to be able to handle many traps. get decent skill items and dont be afraid toask for buffs (maninly heroism and its greater version).

So the DPS of your current build will not be lowerd, and you wont disappoint the pugs you join.
Much to gain, at an extremly low investement.

a rogue's dps is based primarily on the sneak attack

against a fortified enemy, against an enemy immune to blind (and other sneak inducing effects), a rogue (unless str based) has absolutely no dps against the mob. take shroud for example. its not uncommon to see players bring 3-4 rogues in parties and still be able to get fiend down as quickly on normal. this is coz fiend has 50% fort and 3 rogues is still alot of damage after the 50%. on elite, where the fort is 100% (or so i heard) then rogues have absolutely no dps due to sneak not working

ranger favored add only 2 to damage at your level

roll a dwarven tempest or dwarven barb if u want pure dps
If you want to know why...

i already have a 16 human rogue with 70 disable for traps, 16 2 handed dwarf barb with greensteel t2, 16 twf dwarf barb using d.axe.

the reason i making this build is because... my 16 rogue does not have much feats on pierceing weapon or twf.. but he hitting really good dmg with rapier and shortsword.

so it doesnt make sense if i going to make another class to disable trap...

i prolly take freeman suggestion.. with 4fighter/12 rogue for wota 2
but how much int i have to sacrifice to make devestating atack successful?

other than making a rogue, what other build is good for rapier and shortsword dps?

I'm not seeing the benefit of dropping so much into Dex here.. DPS on a FInesse rogue is difficult to pulll off. WHen you get your sneak attack, you need to amke sure you hurt... Halfling is better in this regard because of the extra Guile enhancments.

No, you cant wear MFP. Medium armor negates Evasion.

If you want a DPS Rogue, I would strongly recomend going STR Based. The extra damage when your not getting your sneak attack adds up quick.

But you can't bring both characters into a quest at the same time. The only adjustment you would need to make to get this character to a decent skill level for traps would be to take max ranks in Search and Disable Device, and carry around some skill items. You don't need feats or enhancements for 90% of the traps out there, unless you are running quests above your level. You would hardly lose anything(Perhaps one other maxed skill), and it would add another side to your abilities.

Hmm, I'm not really sure what you need for the attack to be hit reliably. The DC is 10 + Rogue levels + Int modifier. My pure rogue has a DC of 32, and I've only seen mobs save a handful of times. I know most of the rogues I see using it have at least 1-2 levels of other classes, and they use it without any problems, so perhaps they can probably give you a better idea of what DC you need to aim for.
