Yes, it is the Moonlight Sonata, however, it is all 3 movements. Most people are familiar only with the first, which is the Adagio sostenuto.
The allegretto and presto agitato movements (2 & 3) are much less familiar. I agree, the second movement sounds like a different piece altogether, but when the third movement kicks in, you can hear the melodic allusion to the first. Thanks for downloading this link. I enjoyed it.
