value is in the eye of the buyer. i personally have not made any requests, merely suggestions. i find it amusing that someone actually LOOKING FOR q-staffs is getting high and mighty. i'll give u all the ones i pull for free, but it's always in the best interest of ANY trade for each participant to attempt to get the best price possible. unfortunately, sarcasm and condescending comments only purchase more of the same. but, gl though.

Not really. In your case value is in the crit range of the weapon when it comes to those with crit based effects. You offered up a blunt banisher which only crits on a 20 (19-20 if IC: Bludgeoning is taken) and were looking for +2 tomes, large ingredients, tome/shield pieces, or plat (and I'm guessing by "plat" you meant > 100k pp). There is the matter of "attempting to get the best price possible" and then there is reality. How often do you see blunt heavy maces/light maces/morningstars getting traded here for that kind of stuff? Exactly, you don't.

Bone Breaking is the crit-based effect for DEX damage (Maladroit being the hit-based effect). So like Puncturing and Enfeebling, there is no save.

I wasnt being high and mighty it was said with a grin on my face.

The reality is that a W/E Kukuri I paid 200k plat for... its the crit 15-20 that makes it worthwhile. A 19-20 on a quarterstaff is worth no where near that. My last W/E heavy mace sold for 72k plat... I would expect to pay a similar ammount to that, a good fair price. Hence the deal I made for 100k for the W/E quarterstaff, I actually offered more than I thought it was worth to be a nice guy and to thank the trader for helping me out... (trade still pending but hopefully will complete tonight)

But Im not going tp trade things that are worth 3 times as much, and Crit based effect on staffs are not that desirable (apparently to anyone but me) and people who are trying to take advantage of a simple request I chuckle at. Especially a banishing quarterstaff of which there are 5+ on the AH at face value or less.

I have one of those. Looted about a year ago and kept for the hell of it. Oddly enough, no one from my guild wanted it when I canceled.
