Meet Idonno (of Thelanis). A build for 3 year olds. After my son picked hair style, color, etc, I asked him what he wanted to call his character. Of course, you now know what his answer was.
This build has one purpose: To be entertaining to the youngest of players:- It must be simple. Any feats or enhancements must be always on, etc.
- It must be soloable. This is one for dad to drive while son (or daughter) chooses what to do and swings when needed.
- NOTE: I worked this out through level 16, but don't expect it to ever go past level 6 or so. And, 3 year olds don't mind repeating things over and over again, so when I say it needs to be soloable, I mean it in the context of repeated lower level quests. Thus, a fighter.
- It needs to be a 28 point build because father-son time works best when one sneaks off to another server where nobody knows us.
I stumbled onto this when I let my son drive one of my main characters for a few minutes. He wanted to smash everything. Especially Oozes. So this is a bludgeoning spec'd fighter. His favorite request:"Papa, can I smash squishy thingies"
Without further ado:

- 3 Extra cheap Mauls for Oozes... Nope. No Muckbane. Doesn't look as cool when swinging! And everything else is way too expensive to repair for the amount of gold this toon is going to be pulling. Lol. I managed to buy us a set of +2 Full Plate after several nights of play and it totally wiped out our bank account!
So far, we've done almost everything level 1 and 2 on normal, and a couple including Durk's on hard. No deaths yet that required a recall... One death near a shrine, and about 6 almost-deaths that were bailed out by the Diehard feat. (Diehard is a really good feat for 3 year olds who want to use a maul on EVERYTHING and who occasionally stop swinging in the middle of the battle to point out something shiny. Oh My!)
Cheers!
