    Default Flavor build help needed?

If anyone is familiar with the Warhammer 40k series I was wondering if people could help me out with a specific build. I want to make a Bezerker Of Khorne. Bezerkers of Khorne fight with 2 axes, and only shoot guns when running headlong into battle. They are considered heavy infantry. Here is a small description for them.

Dealing death only brings a Chaos Marine satisfaction when they can see the horrified looks on their victims' faces while they dismember them limb from limb. But ranged weapons are a grim necessity in the world of the future, so only the most worthy of Chaos Marines are allowed to dedicate themselves to melee combat. These are the Chaos Berserkers.

The greatest of Chaos Berserkers often dedicate themselves to the Blood God Khorne, and fight with a maniacal zeal to murder in his name. Khorne Berserkers have superhuman strength, even by Space Marine standards, and show an unbelievable resiliency to shrug off crippling wounds. Khorne Berserkers have no fear, and their morale can never break. The damage they deal is so great that few armies can withstand the fury of their assaults.
Any ideas? Im stuck between barbarian and fighter with a splash of pally. They are dedicated to the blood god after all and immune to fear. And any ideas on race? Chaos were created from the space marines which are enhanced Humans so im looking that way. any input would be great.

    Default So to tell you

It's going to have to be a Ftr, since you can't splash Pally with Barb.....alignment restrictions...:/

Well if he's a Barb....a 14 Barb / 2 Rng build - Human ....would get you the desired needs of TwF (w/ D.Axes - Human Feat) and that Range attack with Str behind it when charging in.

Or I have a 8 Pally / 6 Ftr / 2 mnk ---TwF that might fit the bill for you...though he lacks the ranged attacks, but is fearless and has the power of his god behind him.

Always nice to see new types of threads up here...:]

    Default Try this one

You have a very interesting idea here which got me quite curious. I messed around with the DDO character planner and came up with this build. I assume you have access to 32 point build. It is based on one of my characters who is a human 14 ranger/2 ftr which dual-wields heavy picks. This build gets all the TWF feats through Greater TWF for free because of the ranger levels. It also has the ranger Tempest enchancement which increases TWF attack speed. With two uber dwarven axes, improved crit slash, and power attack on, you will absolutely shred through mobs. Not many other builds will be able to out DPS you (2 handed barb being one). I purposefully did not do any of the skills as this doesn't matter to the build and is up to your play style. Enjoy!

PS: As always, I'm open to inputs from the peanut gallery. Any thougts on improving this build?

sounds like a barbarian to me, you dont need to be completely immune to fear to meet your RP, considering that barbs do get bonuses to their will saves when raging, it sounds like it matches to me. Like impact said, a reavers ring works for the immunity if you must have it, as does a shroud item, dq belt, or a certain helm. But on a dwarf barb you should save 95% of the time anyway; and a GH makes that 100%

maniacal zeal and superhuman strength ? thats a barbarian
