Help me pick my new Warforged class.

I have no idea how this game is played anymore. It's a vastly different game then the one I knew. For all intents and purposes I'm a "n00b".

Having said that, there are a few options I'm kicking around.

First, Warforged Paladin, go for the bladesworn transformation, enhancement, with Warforged power attack, and great sword specialization. With extra LoH, and then multiclass him to a fighter at about 6-8th level.

Second, not sure if the respecc-ing get's a 'forged the ability to respec his body type feat, if so any of you casters have any luck with a adamantine plated Wizard?

Third option, re-roll my pure 'Forged ranger. Probably one of my favorites behind my sorceror.

Fourth, re-roll my pure 'Forged Rogue, only with a level of barbarian and no weapon finesse?

Taking suggestions as well, some of you know how I roll.

Have you got 1750 point builds?

If so, given your taste for both melee and arcane spellcasting, you could consider a battlemage build (a melee toon heavy in Wizard or Sorc levels that buffs themself, buffs the party a small amount, then melees while casting damage spells like Firewall and debuff spells like Cloudkill). Search the boards for 'Arcane Psycho' for some ideas here.

Alternately, more traditional WF Wizards can still be effective. If you go this route, stay pure classed (Spell Resistance is common on foes now)

I've changed my mind, I'd rather get my favor to FINALLY get my 32 point build Warforged Monk.
