WTT 2 Planar Grids

I don't know if these are still sought after, but I have 2 of them and would love for someone or someones to make me an offer I can't refuse, i am going to get of my paladin that is currently using them and don't plan to remake her until i get the favor needed for 32 point build.

Ok I will post a few things that would be helpful to me, but I am not sure what the grids are worth anymore.

+5 stat item (CHA or WIS cloak would great)
power X or Wiz IV item (preferably trinket)
+1 CHA or WIS tome (not sure if this is feasable though)
Decent weapon for my lvl 11 elf cleric (not too picky)

just so you know, the value of the girds is still really high. the value of the items you are asking for is now really really low.

what you should be asking for 2 girds is

+6 cha cloak and +6 wisdom item
i wouldn't even mess with the spell point items since you can get wiz 6 with some minor farming of the newest raid (and +6 wisdom on the same item)
the tomes are up to you, but in the newest raid +2 unbound tomes drop
sup pot 6 sceptre

To update you jed:

+6 stat items now drop very often and are fairly accessable and cheap (rings are the rare ones)
+2 tomes drop in mod6 quests chests and end reward (not too rare, but still a lucky pull)

Look my up when your on, Ive probably got some +5 stuff to hold you over if you want.

Dont make hasty trades until you know the market a bit better.

first, planar girds are valuable because they only drop in one place & let non-gh casting classes self-buff themselves, many players want multiples for characters to use at level 11

i am going to give you examples of what a planar gird is worth IMO:

1) 500,000 plat

2) at least 5 large ingredients

3) vorpal kukris or khopeshes (not other vorpals)

4) bloodstone (some players have multiples & might be willing to trade one for a new build, this one is doubtful though as bloodstones are highly desired, but you can always try; however, might have to trade both girds for it)

5) at least one +2 tome (might be worth 2 of these)

6) maybe some real good power 5's or greater banes

7) +5 mithral fullplate (might be pushing it)

i would never trade a planar gird for most of the other stuff mentioned in this thread

i play as handcuffs or hooks

Take your time on this before trading. There is some good advice and some poor being given to you here. See PM for some additional comments. Just remember you are in the drivers seat with these, as they are very tradable items.

Cheap? No, and I'm offended that you think so.

Let's see, I've pulled 8 planar girds to date, but only one +2 wisdom tome. I've only pulled one wiz 6 ring, and while the value of wiz 6 items have decreased a lot, I have yet to see a crafted ring.

Now let's compare it in plat. I place a gird between 200 and 300k plat. I still sell +2 tomes for 500k. It is a fair offer that way exceeded what was being asked.

Are you trying to claim that when you make an offer, you throw everything in on the first iteration?

Welcome back...again.

Keep the girds, give one to each of your clerics. Your casters can obviously self-buff with G. Hero. When you remake your paladin, give one of your girds to her. You'll be better off in the long run that way. There are people here in this thread trying to take advantage of your absence from the game.

i might not even trade the +5 mithral chain for it because i probably pull a +5 mithral armor out of a chest once or twice a year

really, let's not overestimate the value of a planar gird, i.e., many other items will give you immunity to fear & most good players at end-game are going to buff you up with a gh

honestly, that makes the gird much less valuable now at level 16 than back at level 12 when gh was a much rarer spell

You realize +5 mithral chain can be bought for 50K plat on the AH regularly.... thats super cheap. The girds may not be worth 500K a piece, maybe 500K for the both of them. The +2 wis tome is probably the fairest offer I've seen. It's more than what i offered

i would trade 4 to 6 larges for a planar gird

i traded 7 larges for a bloodstone

there is not that big of a difference there in value

both are valuable

however, you might have to trade 2 planar girds for 1 bloodstone

point is that i would rather farm the shroud for larges than run that one area in the desert or xorian cipher over & over again

although, i would not trade my bloodstone for a planar gird because i only have one, but if i had a few sitting in the bank, i might do it

it all depends on the player's build & how much virtual wealth the player has as that defines the need for the item

Yeah +5 Mith FP sells for 400-500K plat
