    Default WF Barbarian/Wiz

Warforged may be considered as a noob race by you but they actually make out good builds...
After coming back to DDO I began to play as my favorite roll.
I made a Warforged Barbarian/Wizard. Mithril Body as a first level feat. I rarely ever failed spells. I was able to heal myself with repair spells and I'd meele through and use spell points too. I was very well at damage-dealing and damage reduction (from both Warforged and Barbarian enhancements) and mithril body protected me. At first it was a very, very well build I was able to solo ringleader on normal at level 3 with him with zero deaths (killed ogre before he even touched me) but then suddenly as I got higher and higher he started to not do so well... I got him to level 6 (3 Barbarian/3 Wizard)
At first this build was perfect. And I began to notice all the pure-barbarians/fighters began to kill more than me.
I have trouble now killing things, I wonder if any updates have happened that made the other classes stronger or the monsters getting harder. Soon my spell's saves failed against almost every monster; At level 1 Niac's Cold Spray was a very sucessful spell but starting at level 3 it wont even hurt anything since they almost always make the save and when they don't its not a big deal and I end up wasting Spell points on it so I guess that spell is off my list.
I die a lot faster now thanks to the poor armor on warforged and my "wizard health heritage" and the damage the monsters do on criticals now.
Should I reroll? Delete this toon for good, or keep on playing? Level higher in barbarian?
    Please give me some advice

    Default Tips/Advice

Now as a Barb/Wiz hybrid your going to have a lower to hit and damage due to split enhancements. Now this does not mean your character needs rerolling. Now mith body has a max ex of 5 so if you aren't filling that out your going to get hit considerably more but if you load up the spells shield and blur and if you have it extend them you wont get hit as often due to the displacement and higher AC. Also with your stats split you best bet would to go with spellls that have no save such as scorching ray and later on firewall. Now come lvl 7 if you can obtain a mod for belt/ring this will make you immune to crits and will help considerably. One final note no character is perfect no matter what someone may think.

Oh and what server are ya on I may be able to help ya in game

Well, rerolling seems like a fine idea, yes.

The wizard and barbarian classes just don't go well together. The prime feature of the barb class is the rage, but rage turns off spellcasting, which is the wizard's prime feature. None of the class abilities really stack, so its like you've got two level 3 characters trying to help in a level 6 party, and they're just not tough enough.

It is reasonable for a wizard to take 1 barb level to learn weapons and run faster, or for a barb to take 1 wiz level to learn wands. But more than that is really a mistake.

You could decide to pick one of your classes and stick with it, but since you're only level 6 out of 16 total, you maybe should reroll right now.
