    Question Un-doing multi class?

I have been playing for a few months and have built up my wizard to 11th level. I was extremely happy when I got enough XP to make it to 12th level. I was excited to get new spells, etc. I was in the portable hole trying to level up and I accidently spoke to the sorcerer trainer instead of the wizard trainer and before I knew it I was multiclassed with a sorcerer. I am now mad and upset. Granted it was my fault ultimately but why are those two trainers so close to each other and can I UN-DO this multiclass or am I stuck with it?

Regreatably you are stuck with it. As for the proximity, sorry for the bluntness to the answer, but they put them there because they either expected or assumed people would read the portion that states X Trainer (Lvls X-X). If you have some charisma items laying around, though, you could make this work out as you will have somewhat more SP than the average 16 wizard. But you need to make sure you have something that is putting that Charisma to a positive bonus (if it is not already.)

You can at least have comfort that you are not alone. Sorc/Wiz trainer confusion is one of the most common catastrophic mistakes in the game. I can't think of anything else that comes close. I mean, the Paladin and Fighter trainers are side by side too, but the classes are at least close enough in spirit that a character can't be hosed by choosing one as a mistake. They both have BAB +1, generally rely on Str and Con, etc.

It is going to be up to you whether you think it is worth it to start over. A lot of it would depend, I think, on what kind of caster you are. For several types of casters, the loss of SP pales in comparison to the loss of DC. Oh well, if you do start over at least you'll have lots of gear to twink a new Wiz with...!

Yep. Like stated above, it's one of the most common catastrophic stuffups you can make. There was another post a week ago about another person who powerlevelled to 12, then did exactly this - also in the Portable Hole :-(

On the brightside, Wiz15/Sor1 isn't terrible (compared to say Sor15/Wiz1).
    I don't have a zerging problem.

    I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.

A 15sorc/1wiz does get an extra metamagic feat so it's not a total waste. With that said, i don't see how a sorc can make such a mistake. Where did they think that bonus metamagic feat was coming from?

I think this one gets folks not familiar with the game rules the most. I'd find it hard not to notice I was getting new first level spells instead of new 6th level ones but I can see how someone unfamiliar with D&D could have that happen and just muscle through it.

It's not a good combo... kind of a wasted level but ultimatnely it won't actualy stop you from being a good wizard and you do get some extra first level spell slots out of it.

My advice would be to reroll. Harsh, but certainly your best choice.
Once you've passed lvl12 again you'll be glad you did.
If you dont have 1750 favor, go for it before you reroll, might as well get your 32points while you are at it. If you dont have that much time, its not a big deal.
