Default Looking for Fighter / Wizard SOlo build

Any one have suggestions for a Fighter / Wizard build that can solo? Maybe couple of levels of rouge as well.

Was thinkning a WF fighter, high AC, medium to high DPS, self-buffs and heals (repair).

    This possible?

I am so new to DDO that I Do not fully get how builds and combos work. Seems like it takes time to learn this. Something I love because that is true to the DnD premise - learn the books and the combos are endless.

It seems from reading about builds that most suffer at some point in partiucler areas (the vale?)

    Thanks for you help

It's going to be hard to get high AC since wizards have trouble wearing good armor without suffering spell failure. Although it's possible with a specific build and some good gear.

Before leveling my WF Wizard, I thought I wanted a melee mage.....

WHenever I get the urge to manhandle something to death, I just throw a Hold and whip out my Dual Light picks of Puncturing.... AUtocrit FTW.....

I get over my bloodlust and move on to the next mobs.

Without commenting on the overall merits of a high AC ..

Technically speaking it would be possible to get a decent AC if you went Warforged, took Mithral Body and had enough starting DEX to take advantage of it (factor in items/tomes). Arcane Sigil also reduces shield spell failure, so with an Arcane Sigil docent you could walk around with a +5 heavy mithral sheild, mithral body and have 0% ASF. Throw in Combat Expertise if you can deal with having spells break it (I couldn't).

Anways .. just build whatever you think would be fun (but don't get discouraged if it doesn't work out). There is no one single way to play this game (thank god).
