Stackable?

Guys,

Are action point enhancements stackable with items? For instance, if I specialize in cold-fire spells and have spent action points on damage amplification for those, will that stack with a superior potency item (assuming the potency item covers the spell level)? I have a greater pot V item and damage amp 30% enhanced, yet I don't really see the w/o the potency item.

Another question is: how does it stack? (X + .3X) + .4x or is it X + MAX(.4x,.3x) ?

Yes. The best enhancement, feat, and item stack.

Base * [1 + Potency + Manipulation] for a max total of x1.9 static spell boost.

With Greater Potency and tier III Manipulation you currently have x1.7 damage.

The second one isn't even an example of them stacking(max returns the largest of the terms it is passed, causing at least one of your bonuses to be excluded) and Mad just reduced the first expression. Btw, feats stack with each other.
