Default Need help from a master buildsmith.

Hey guys if anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

I need a build. I haven't even unlocked drow so I really need help. I am looking for a elf paragon build. I would like to be good at using a longsword and magic and a bow I would also like to use healing wands without UMD. With 28 points. I Know its a hard build but if anyone is up with the challenge I would appreciate the help.

    Thanks in advance.

Could you elaborate on how much magic and what type you want to be good at?
At first glance I think you want a Bard or multiclass wizard, maybe even a battlecleric.

I was thinking arcane. I want to be like the old elf class like in 1e. If it was possible. I was thinking something like a ranger wizard multi class that doesnt focus on ranged or melee but equally in both.

Yea that or maybe a bard I really kinda want stealth. But the spells I want are summon spells and magic missile. I know I am being difficult but this is gonna be the character I use to get my 32 point builds. I don't have Drow either. It may not be a possible build though if now I guess I'll have to play something else. I would like to be able to solo and group with this build.

    Again thanks for the help.

not to sound sarcastic or anything, but nobody in low levels solos like a warforged paladin..... Nobody.

    just my opine of course.

Just an idea, but Rangers get their own summons and one level of wizard would open you up for arcane archer and arcane wands.

11Ranger/5wizard would give you good melee, good ranged, healing wands, and a touch of magic. A few 10 min buffs and 1min hastes/displacements for the tougher fights, with wand usage. 15Ranger/1wizard would be fine also.

I am going dragonmarks on my Elf Ranger for the displacement, too bad for me to get all my feats with the new enhancement for arcane archer I have to take a level of wizard or wait till L18.

Wow, the above build is interesting.... Not Practical at all... But interesting...

Lightning bolts and Fireballs are going to get saved against all the time..... THe Correct l3 Spells to take would be Haste and Displacement.. Skip l6 WIzards and go 11Ranger/5 Wizard. HUGE benefits to this split.. You give up ONE spell that wont be effecive anyway, and you gain 30 Point resisists, all youtr L11 Ranger granted feats, more hit points.

I also cant help but notice its a dex based build.... But no weapon finesse..... ???? At least one of those TOughness feats should go to FInesse.....

WHich eliminates the Longsword useage.. Gotta stick with Rapiers.. (Not bad) But your Missing Improved Critical....

Heighten is also wasted... Youhave Nothing to heighten..... as a l5(Or 6) Wizard, you have nospell that can be effectively heighted to Caster Level 3....
Improved Mobiel Spellcasting? ANother Bad feat.... QUicken is MUCH more efficient... Drop Heighten for Quicken, and get Improved Critical Pierce instead of Mobile improved mobile spellcasting...

Goodness.. I'll just post a build tomorrow.....

The posibilityes with l16 around the corner are very exciting.

Impaqt you forgot the Elf paragon build that is a halfling.
If it was strictly roleplay his build has some merit.

Gotta Admit I have no idea what an "Elf Paragon" build is......

Seems kinda odd that an elf build would be a halfling though... Maybe thats just me though.....

As far as role playing.... Thats fine. No issues there. but Improved mobile spell casting and 2 toughness feats dont add up to me for "Role Playing"
