I thought max/empower actually affected that damage. I guess I can just log my sorc in and check ...
Thats a good point and to tell the truth, I don't know, but the damage on a made save is kinda beside the point with PK so I never paid much attention to it.

    Default Pk

PK does not do extra dmg with metas running, nor does it cost extra mana. FoD used to, but they changed it in mod5.

A quick question, I had a wiz before but wanted more sp so made a sorc, is chill touch better or worse than shocking grasp. It is good against undead as it casts fear in them if they dont make the save, but what is the better spell?

Depends how your sorc is specced and what level you are. If you're elec/acid specced, go for shocking grasp until other cooler, area electrical/acid effects become available, then swap SG for CT. If you're cold/fire specced, go for CT. Chill Touch retains its usefulness at high levels because its the only spell that can fear undead. One at a time maybe, but still useful.
