WF vs Drow

I need some opinions from the experts: Pure Wizard build, Drow with 20 Int or 32pt build WF with 18 Int? Self healing vs +1 DC and 10-14 SP

Self healing is well worth it along with the racial boost to HP.

WF for sure. Very durable, self-healing, self-reliant. I break all the rules with my WF Wizard. Standing base 242HP (without Minos helm or toughness feats), can self buff hp to over 300, reconstruct self for 168hp at the click of a button, and have just -1DC and a paltry amount of SP, and minor SR. No competition IMHO. If you take the quicken feat...you are all but immortal unless you are knocked down or run out of SP.

You are talkin about instant self heal, durability, and more hp or a total squishington with one more dc on spells. Plus you are going wiz so you can afford the feat to get your DC back if you want it. Not to mention WF are way more stylish and powerful looking.

I must say that a Warforged Wizard is a tough opponent. Many Pro's and not that many Con's...

To play an Elf/Drow Wizard you will have to accept that another race may be more powerful than your build but in no way is it better for each race have that special something which makes them fun to play.

Besides... nobody knows what awaits us at 20th level! The tide may turn.

Those people that do play the WF wizard, you dont take the mithral body feat correct?

You can take the Mithri; body feat because it is overcomable, however the few extra AC in the end is not really worth it IMO. And yea Warforged all the way, + since most Drow Wizards are fairly low con the immunities are nice especially to things like poison.

Just got my first warforged wizard to 10th lvl and i gotta say i like both the high dex evasion build of Drow casters(Seylythia has 32 dex)and the
high constitution build of Xeno (Hyper Mode.... self repairs activated).Guess its all about yer play style.
