Really ? I had a paralyzed Warmage in Siegebreaker cast at least 2 different spells on me while paralyzed. And the Gnoll Archers get off more than 1 arrow - I've learnt it helps to go behind...

Since Paralyzed mobs can still move, cast spells, shoot arrows and/or hit you, I don't see much advantage ... ;)
