All my characters which last logged off in the Lordsmarch Bank cannot be accessed, every other character not last left standing in the bank has no problem logging in. When attempting to access a character in the bank, the splash page loads, the progress bar does NOT fill, and after about 2-3 minutes, the client crashed and a message displays stating that i have lost connectivity to the server.
I have tested the affect by creating a new character and logging off in the market, logging back in and then logging off in the bank. The new character is not affected by whatever is holding the other characters in the bank.
So my ticket was submitted as such.
The automated response from Turbine tech support was received, and then it states:

Really? How do you get to that? It's the same as saying that my real world location is having an effect on which characters I can access, and which I can't. If it wasn't such a game breaking issue, I'd be in fits of laughter right about now.

No wonder they need your real world location, I bet this problem is localized. I, too, am having server connections problems and I'm playing from Japan.
My problems started last night when the game crashed as I was moving from The Harbor to Korthos Village. Ever since then, after selecting that character, I get to the world loading screen, there's no progress and I lose the server connection. But the game works fine for my other characters.
Don't even get a lousy freaking 33% half-***ed attempt!

Mine never shows any blue on the "connecting to patch server" bar it's just attempt 1... FAILED attempt 2... FAILED and so on until it gets to 20 and the connection times out. Lamannia at least lets me select a character before it tries for several minutes and then fails.
Tried the troubleshooting recommended when I submitted a ticket...

Some people are saying they can't log in with specific characters or on specific servers, I can't even get past "Initializing..." and when I close the launcher, it says "TurbineLauncher.exe has stopped working" and Windows shuts it down.

I live in NJ, and i can't log either of my accounts still. Just letting you know, to answer the question, no, if you ignore it, it won't fix itself.
Problem may be with Argonessen

Marketplace is the problem
its marketplace the only character I cant log into is in marketplace other zones may be affected
cause and effect for zone issue breakage
As below: I can log in fine, with any char NOT in the harbor. Or more specifically... I left restless isle last night and this morning to zone into the harbor, and my character got wedged. I can play with other chars, but zoning caused those two chars to wedge. I can not play them now.

Filed ticket - now what? Are there any suggestions of things to try? Anything at all? Try logging in with a different character? (I've currently got two characters "stuck in limbo" and I dared not try another - yet).
