Heres an aggrovating problem, The loss of VIP occasionaly when they do maintenance on the game or update it in one way or another. It happened to me during this last update and i still havnt gotten my VIP back.
poor turbine...
another new, unsatisfied customer. and early in his ddo life, at that :D
to laeril: dont trip, it will get fixed. but dont feel like the lone ranger. the last 2 or 3 updates this happened en mass. so far it seems they have dwindled the numbers a bit this time of vip accounts being downgraded, but still it happened a lot worse the last couple updates. i seen tolero said they were aware of your downgrade. call the support number, and im sure this problem will be resolved promptly
but yes, the fact remains....you shouldnt have to
It no longer shows on the experience screen. When you get awarded any experience the number should be higher than expected and a bit in your chat box will say something along the lines of "Your experience bonus effect gave you XXX more experience".
It should function on any experience award now as well, so it would be easy to test by simply going into an explorer area or doing a quick optional in a quest.
Very nice list
I have a (very) minor bug to add that I didn't see in the official list or your list.
If you are an assassin III rogue attacking a mob with DR and immunity to vorpals (I discovered this on shroud portals) and you roll a 20, when the damage scrolls up, you'll see "immune" referring to the vorpal attempt and then your damage. The damage text will not be the correct color to show that the damage was reduced by their DR, but will appear the normal color as if there was no reduction.
Very minor, has no effect on gameplay, but then the sounds of ghost mephits' wings don't either, so I thought I'd mention it :p
- If you are soloing and exit a quest with a hireling active the quest entrance will not show the quest as being active until you enter and exit without having a hireling
When an enemy speaks in combat, his health bar above his head disapears.
Heres one i found since the update anyone else getting this problem?
Client crashes every time I go through any door in a public instance. Sometimes immediatly and sometimes with in a few seconds after the load screen.
I'm not havign this problem with my caster/umd builds and teleports or quest entrances so its gotta be something about the doorways between areas. Also, I have been runnign the same Comp for the last 3 years and this just started so it's not a previous hardware issue.
I haven't read all the posts to see if this has been mentioned, but a held monster hit with a radiance burst from a weapon (and blinded) will start moving around. It won't attack or anything, just move around while held and blinded.
Monk Ghosttouch handwraps still do not work correctly.
This seems to be the case whenever there are multiple effects that modify the speed at which a mob can move.
Paralyze, hold person/monster, crippled, tripped, blinded, etc.. They all seem to cause a similar issue when there is more than one of these effects active.
I'm sure it doesn't need confirmation, as everyone has seen it, but yes this happens.
It happens when a mob is blinded when Held, when stunned, flesh to stone, etc. Anything that has rendered it immovable. That sucker just glides around quick as lightning.
Similar to this, I experience a worse scenario in two particular places I can immediately recall:Quote:

I have found if I load into one of these locations, if I alt-f4 to terminate the client, and reload in again, The lag is less of an impact (lasts approximately .25 second every 6 seconds).
Not sure what causes it in only these places, but these quests without fail are basically unplayable.
(eg: If I am running along with everyone.. The whole client seems to 'hang' for second, and when it has unfrozen, everyone is suddenly further along than they were).
I will try adjusting the Stencil Shadows as indicated above.
This did not always happen either. Only noticed from around April/May this year? (not 100% when it would have started, had taken a break from DDO there for a while).
I'm not reading reading through 10 pages to see if this has been mentioned, but Bless is borked.
Disarming the traps in I Dream of Jeets does not give any trap parts.
[Edit] it may be that I actually got trap parts but did not get a message telling me that I did? Not sure about this now - I will need to reproduce it.
Did you write down how much XP you had before quest completion and then how much XP you had after quest completion? Voice might actually be bugged, but I do know that it at least displays on the Advancement lines in chat and not in the quest XP log. I'll check this again tomorrow, but I did check after Update 5 and before Update 6 and it seemed to be working fine.
NEW - Character attack animations are not synchonised with the sounds associated with it
it sucks so hard have lost the sound sync from battle, I usually lose up to 70% of sound feedback from attacking.
