I'm coming back after being out a bit. I have a friend who wants to duo with me. She likes summoners/pets/armies of minions. I'm thinking possibly complimentary pale masters or maybe druid and wizzirogue. I'm trying to get all the different party roles out of these two. DPS, Tank, Heals, Traps, Spells, you know how it goes. The ability to actually make it through all the quests. I'm not familiar with the updates, the epics, the new PRR/MRR stuff I'm out of my depth. I'm hoping to send hordes of summons to do our tanking. I believe I can get at least skele knight, summon spell, and maybe charm? Druid I guess gets summon bonuses maybe a wolf pet? etc. I Played with the idea of using your cleric/wiz/bard vampire swashbuckler as one side. I thought about trying to come up with an evil cleric and pale master duo. I've thought of doing a sniper build with my duo providing the summon distractions. I've thought of just going cleric/fighter to do heal/tank and rogue/wis to do traps,spells,DPS and keep it simple. I'm looking to rock house not just play the flavor. I'm hoping your expertise could set me on the right track.

Ok with this build you get you get the ATT speed and better stopping power then a wind stance stunning monk on his best day and with bard skills/lev no trap will be to much for you when properly equipped and you heal. I am playing one close to this now so I know it to be true. With UMD you will be able to raise Dead too so covers all the two of you should need and with her CC and the fact that you can Fascinate too you guys should have no prob.
Your freeze works off stunning so get a stunning short sword for lower levs then combat mastery Item when you can house C challenge has a good belt for this that is what I use in epic levs the drow house of rusted chain has A +10 stunning ring so you can use non stunning weps & you want them stunned or frozen 50% more dam when they are.

Notes:
This Build should be all you asked for over the top charming and when they are they will become better then the mobs around them. The ones that are not charmed will be confused (Confused monsters attack and are attacked by both monster characters and player characters.) remember to confuse at range when you can they ATT first thing they see so you or other mobs. It dose not have a pet of its own but they don't lev beyond 20 with the toon so not that good anyway better to take pets from the mob but in low lev you do have summon spells and in epics you get a epic summon from the Magister Destinie. The Items you need most will be spell pen, spell focus, & Radiance + Acid spell power. With Utterdark Blast on your Eldritch Blast base damage is now Evil instead of Force and aliment dam is boosted by light spell power.

This build has LE freezing and stunning shield ATT's to take full advantage of Combat Brute {Passive Bonus: You gain +1[W] damage with melee weapons and deal +50% damage to helpless opponents while any Action Boost is active} from Legendary Dreadnought. That is on top of the +50% to damage that they give themselves.
Love the build, going to try it out. A few questions though:
1- Does the Melee power from SWF stack with the melee power from TWF?
2- Why all the Int? Surely a few points saved there could even out Chr or Con?
3- Rather than the extra boosts in PDK, even just 5 points in Soul eater would give you significant melee bonuses.
4- I'm assuming this build requires a +1 lesser resurrection to get rid of fighter level?
1- It is THF and ITHF and yes the melee power stacks but more importantly when using a bastard sword in just one hand you get glancing blows and these feats boost that damage and the chance to get weapon proc on them. At lev 28 I take Perfect Two weapon Fighting for the +5% Doublestrike and yes that works even when not duel welding.
2- The int is for needed skill points. {Concentration, Heal, Spell craft, and Use Magic Device maxed} As to evening out Chr and Con they are you see I posted that build befor the planner had Warlock and had to do a mock up enhancement tree so Chr & Con in the PDK are not calculated in the planner. At lev 28 the base + enhancement for Con is 18 and Cha is 28
3- As to the AP spent in PDK tree you need to spend 8 to get Traditionalist Caster: +3/+6/+10 Universal Spell Power when wielding an Orb or Staff. The rest as said above to even out Cha & Con the boost just come with all that and aren't a bad thing.

I have given up on using the ddocharacterplanner for now. too much going on to learn what I am doing. I do need a build to dual with my sorcerer though. I have a lvl 2 sorcerer so want to start this so they can level together with dual boxing.

Hi again rlarge so is the healer, traper a 28 or 32 point build, and are you set on Fav or could go cleric for faster spell leveling and Radiant Servant & Divine Disciple enhancements which could help with SP for your sorcerer by getting Divine Vitality still mixed with Warpriest?

Hey, you seem to be really knowledgeable about creating builds, so I was wondering if you could help me out. You referred me to one of your druid builds, which i'm currently using, but i'd also like a monk build. I'm starting fresh, first life, with 32 points. I really want to keep that monk feel while playing. I honestly have no idea of current builds, and forgot most of what I knew after my 5 year break. So anything that comes to mind for you would be great!
I have a build called Robo Ryu {it is posted on this thread} that worked real good but now it would be better for a blade forged do you have access to bladeforged if not then warforged will work. It needs a little tweak on the enchantments but other then that is good to go if you like it I could rebuild it for you. If this is not the one for you then tell me more of what you are looking for and give me a direction to build in, you see most of the builds here are built to order and I need to know how you want to play your monk so it fits you

Well Nordenfeldt lets see if you want a pure Warlock and don't have PDK and access to a +1 lesser heart of wood or better the best IMO is "Drow Warlock Melee build" found earlier in this thread it was posted shortly after warlock dropped and had a couple slight variations suggested but now that I have time to play around with it I can be more definitive. Would go with the with the LD option. If you get PDK and don't have the heart of wood 18 Warlock/2 fighter works ok but the loss of Ultimate Enlightenment {6 core in ES} is a big hit.
So look them over and tell me which one and I will post a "36 pts, +2 tomes all around" version of it.
Hey Kent, looks like you have some amazing builds here, so I figured I'd bug you to make one more! ;)
I'm a new-ish player, getting ready for my first TR. My character was a 28-point build, but he'll be a second life and I'm VIP, so I'll have 34 to start with. I have access to all races and classes, with the exception of artificer. I'll have a barbarian past life, already got colors of the queen EPL, and hoping to get another EPL (in the martial sphere, haven't decided which to take yet) before they raise the cap. I picked up the +6 tome of supreme ability because of the Black Friday sale, so that should help a bit. Gear-wise, I'm not in great shape, though I do have a greensteel greatsword and enough useful named items that it'd be annoying to list them. I'm also about to make a GS accessory, but haven't actually done so yet (mainly due to dithering on what I want from it). I'll be hitting my 20th Shroud run before the end of the year, so I can start thinking about a second accessory as well.
I'm looking to stay melee DPS with some tanking ability. I run raids with my guild, so being able to hold my own against raid bosses is necessary once I hit epic levels again. Before that, I'll probably solo more often than not, so self-heal is definitely useful. Since I'm still learning the game (feels weird to say that 700 hours later, but it's true), I'd prefer to stay pure class, but it's not a requirement. I'm leaning toward paladin, but would be up for other options.
Any guidelines would be greatly appreciated! Mild gear suggestions would also be a huge help, if that's not asking way too much--it would be nice to be able to farm stuff before I TR, but I don't necessarily know what I'm looking for. :)

Twist:

Twist: If you have done all your ED farming and have all your twist points this is so nice {these proc off your aura} but IMO not worth it if you can't get all of them.

Twist: If you go Fiend pact {Remember you can't be Good alignment if you want this, and then you can spend skill points that went in to preform {sonic spell power comes from this}on some thing else.

-Pact chosen is not listed i went fay for better reflex saves and Misty Escape (Abundant Step-like ability)
So now that LD is definitely the way to go got rid of Dwarven axe in this build not worth it to lose Empower Spell when you can just go warhammers and get Pulverizer {tier 6 in LD} not when you can use it for free with Maximize Spell on your Eldritch Burst and Spirit Blast.
- At low levels I would use your Eldritch blast until you can reset your Enhancements to get Eldritch Burst and Int to Damage until then just pick up Eldritch Blast Shape: Chain and use that
- Orb use get any that will up your spell power, Golden Orb of Death (Level 7 two augment Slots) is a good one until you can get Blazing Sun at lev 17 then Epic Blazing Sun, TF Orb, or Golden Orb of Death (Level 26) are all End game choices

On Page 4 of this thread there is a build called "BF Paladin for guildy" it is a complete self heal tanky and DPS all you where looking for and you can use that GS greatsword until you get in to Epics but then I would change out ICS for ICB and go with Mauls to make use of Pulverizer tier 5 LD {Increases the critical threat range of bludgeoning weapons you equip by 1 (Insight bonus).} If this works for you I could do a 34 point build of it with +6 tomes and with that +6 to Int you could get Intimidate for when you really want to play tank and some repair
