You are the only one in this thread constantly bringing up the whole topic of byoh and self sufficiency. The thread was about common courtesy. The OP went back basically took care of another player asked for a simple buff and was refused because thats not how the player plays.
Now my reading comprehension skills maybe a little off compared to some of the more genius types, and my ability to drink has dulled my senses, but even I can see that what your going on about has nothing to do with the topic at hand. I normally don't have a problem with your posting even though you and I would vastly disagree on several topics especially self sufficiency it would seem. But come on grind that axe in the threads you are talking about and stop repeating yourself in this one because honestly you look in the wrong here big time even if you feel you are not. Its become a broken record on your end and bordering on pathological to get technical.
I am honestly not trying to attack you here if you read it that way my apologies it just seems that you are adamant to prove the OP deserved such treatment after being nice because of a play style he enjoys, which makes absolutely no sense. if you are nice to someone getting niceness back shouldn't be such a huge leap no matter how you play the game other times.

The sad thing is that there are a lot of that kind of players in DDO (and any online game). One of the purposes of forming a party is teamwork, you have to complete insufficency. If a cleric heals me, I'd either buff him, or if I'm melee, I'm trying to kill the mobs in front of him so he wouldn't get hurt.
That's why clerics don't cure your diseases or curses, because it's easy to get pots.
The thing that gets me about his continued posting is he thinks just because the OP has a byoh stance that it some how karmic justifies the sorcerers attitude. So because someone likes to play a certain way, decides to help someone out they deserve to have rude things happen to them. Its mind boggling. And it has nothing to do with what the topic is about. I was pugging in the Orchard on my level 16 sorcerer, he has enough UMD for ~30% on heal and 50% on raise dead. I was with a (apparently) battlecleric who kept zerging in the quests we were two-manning. When I got low on hp, he wouldn't heal me, so I went ahead and used a scroll. I didn't ask for a heal or told him I was using a scroll, then when we're on like our 3rd hard run of Vol, he asks me how I keep healing myself. I told him I was using my scrolls, and then he gets mad at me and says something like "I'm the cleric, not you! *I'M* supposed to be healing. Why won't you let me do my job?"
Fast forward to Infero, he still hadn't healed me so I just drank pots as to not enrage the ancient pugasaurus. We get to Cinnis, the cleric just stands there, he did not say he was going afk or brb or whatever. I had to deal with Cinnis myself and used 2 scrolls because Cinnis doesn't like me. I ask the cleric what happened after he stops being "afk" and loots the chest. He said "Well, you apparently don't need me so I let you deal with the boss by yourself"
I say that's all I need, so I'm going to log off for a few hours, then he says "Good. You are the worst sorcerer ever, you are rude and inhospitable*. I will never party with you again, you rude person*. You are squelched and I am telling my guild how bad you are"
And then drops group.
