Someone mentioned in another thread that completing casual unlocks epic for every||(?) quest.

Uh there is a ansty bug that once you do a casual run it sets your favor log to casual even if you did elite before. From that point on it will always say casual in the log. So hopefully this bug does not make it live!

- The dialog and scripting includes what seems like a Beholder tutorial, including things such as as an explanation of what an antimagic eye is. But level-appropriate characters will already have battled larger and more numerous beholders in places like VON3 and Invaders.
- It would be fun to have multiple kinds of drinks which target different saving throws (color coded). That way the party could use a little more coordinated teamwork to defeat the beholder's challenge, instead of it being so repetitive.
- It would be funny to loot potions of Xorian Cider from the chests.
- Good gimmick for the final boss.
- It could be cool if the final boss had a custom skin.
- Because the final boss doesn't use the normal antimagic eye, player characters will retain buffs to resist his attacks pretty well. I suggest that some of his beams be strengthened. In exchange, his hp could be somewhat reduced.
- No real risk of the NPCs dying. Which is fine.
- Tharak Hounds could use a buff to their danger. They're close to harmless.
- Very easy to kill the key with Finger; should it be a construct?
- None of the typical chaos orbs, huh. I guess not every Xoriat portal quest needs to have them.
just ran this...
I must say this is an awesome quest, beholder drinking game, flying tile pieces, ham and clam zombies, well written and scripted, couldnt access some locked areas due to not being a rogue (or maybe they can't be opened?)
Must say the camera views can get annoying though, i don't like seeing shavarath while being debuffed by a beholder I can't see.
simply put, This quest has the highest entertainment value of anything else in the game. More please ^_^
This is my new favorite quest. The end gimmick was cute. I like that he yells at you for being a griefer if you mess with his toy.
THe humor int his quest was great as well.
Terrible vaguely-British accent... That I could do without.
possible bug found in Delirium.
killed the flying key in library, chest is still locked and the library door is blocked by magic barrier. nothing else i can target beside the chest and the library door.
Edit: that happened to me on live server. Should i post this somewhere else? =p
Great idea for a quest. Everyone in our group loved the beholder drinking contest. One of our party members had done it on hard earlier and convinced us to go in on elite as we were over level. Elite is very, very hard. Maybe it was just our run, but when boss died and dropped the green key it was stuck in the floor and we couldn't use it for chest. Definately something I will run again.
fun :)
