Empower Healing increases Healing Spells (I really think it should be Empower Lifemagic and work on Healing/Inflict) 50% for 10 mana. Were you to use the Item you pulled AND the enhancements, I would say that it is worth it. 50% Additional Healing for 4 mana? Hell yes. Using Cure Lights Mass over Cure Moderate Mass becomes more viable than casting the next spell up in level.

Suv has Empower Healing and I'll swear by it, Going an entire dungeon with Cure Light Wounds, Mass being my primary mode of healing works for me when it gets the bonus of empower for only a six-tenths of the cost, leaving me extra mana for Command, Destruction, and other debuff spells that don't benefit greatly from Maximize or Empower
Just a comment for whoever didn't realize it:
Empower Healing (feat) alone doesn't give you better healing performance on Mass Cure Moderate/Serious THAN Maximize(feat)
Empower Healing(feat) + MCLW >= Maximize(feat) + MCLW
Empower Healing(feat) + MCMW = Maximize(feat) + MCMW
Empower Healing(feat) + MCSW <= Maximize(feat) + MCSW
Reason behind the fact was, you got to realize the cost it give was *additional* spell point, so you have to take your base spell cost into account (i.e. Maximize MCMW cost you 60sp, while Empowered Healing MCMW cost you 45 sp; the first one give you 2 times of original healing, the second one give you 1.5 times of original healing. )
And the performance (sp / hp) of MCMW > MCLW , similar to MCSW if you got access to Greater Potency VII -- no matter you are using empower healing or maximize or neither :-)
I agree. If the OP's opposition is fear of losing the IMT Feat his argument is poor. However, it may have more to do with the costly enhancement line empowered healing requires. Love this necklace...and even more so when a Bard shows up and sings songs that save me more manna....EFFICIENCY EFFICIENCY EFFICIENCYQuote:

Then, how about just take the empower healing without any enchantment taken? Since you save 2sp every time you cast an empower healing spell, you need 43 cast (of Heal/MCMW, in case you save 86sp ... out of 1849 sp cost ) in order to make it worth a feat taking, go figure :)
I have 5 clerics 4 that fight, 1 straight healer. The one spec'd for healing isn't really any better of a healing cleric than the battle cleric's spec'd for pvp & killing. Really it all boils down to compensating for the particular build and knowing your owns skills & short comings on the character you are playing.
For example on my multiclassed toons I just have to play a little smarter with the healing and maybe use a couple extra scrolls for raises & healing than I do on my healing spec'd cleric...
Now my healing cleric is a drow & squishy... I find that although I still don't get one shotted on her in the shroud (268 hitpoints) she is no way even close to my 457 hitpoint dwarven builds that always ARE the lastman standing when things go wrong..
If Impaqt solo's alot on his cleric I say BRAVO more cleric's should when you fighting, killing, healing yourself, and multitasking like a mo fo it makes you a better period.. Pvping also does this.... I get tired of cleric's using "Im a quest build" or "I'm a healbot" as a crutch... The bottom line is you probally haven't built your cleric for endgame ..
It works like this empower healing is great if you are alive to heal. The types who I see that have empower healing are usually in the deadbox waiting for someone to click the altar and let them loot because the maximized & empowerd boys got the job done....
I know I derailed there but empower healing is JUNK... bottom line....
