Could not agree more. If you made one well it could be everything that the razorclaw tried to be but actually not crappy OR give them some really nice bonuses with Dwarven war axes.

We need another strength based race, and Goliath is boring, so I say Giff.

And since Iconics are never actually anything I consider to be truly Iconic, I say Giff Warlock. Uses a blunderbuss as it’s arcane focus for it’s Eldritch Blasts and spells. Pew pew. Burning Hands and Scorch = short and medium ranged flamethrowers. Fireball = grenade launcher.

I've opened this thread thinking of some barbarians, rogues, monks and wolfs competing who would arrive at the finishing line first.

When it comes to Iconics, if SSG is to stay in line with 1 iconic per class, then here is the list of classes still let to represent the current classes.

Of those, druid & sorcerer are the only free to play ones remaining & it's been stated previously that they don't want to have iconic (a paid for thing) paired with a class you also have to pay for. I've previously suggested Talenta Plains halfling for druid, complete with dinosaur pet & I stand by that idea :) Having a Duregar sorcerer too would round them out nicely.

I really don't like or enjoy how they went about most Iconics... making for the most part UNiconic "Iconics" pairing classes and races that don't really go together almost assuredly to get those +1 heart sales.

I would like to see them make VARIANT Iconics so we could see some ACTUALLY CLASSIC examples of Iconic characters.

E.G.

• Sun Elf Wizard
• Drow Bard (devoted to Eilistraee)
• Drow Druid (of Vulkoor)
• Dragonborn Sorcerer
• Warforged Scout
• Half-orc Barbarian
• Dwarven Fighter/battlerager
• Halfling House Jorasco Healer
• Talenta Halfling Ranger (Dinomount is like animal companion for them)

We ALL KNOW the most iconic tiefling class is warlock, the most iconic Aasimar is Favored Soul, the most iconic Tabaxi is probably rogue... but we'll probably NEVER see those. A gnome artificier is also pretty iconic as the trend of Tinker Gnomes is mostly why gnomes now have Int bonus instead of the old Con bonus.

Gatekeeper half-orc druid iconic.

I second this, although I hope they make it so that it can be also specced as a Pally, Bard or other popular DB builds. Nothing too fantastical, just make sure the synergies are there.

I want to see several dwarven subtypes . we have hosue Kundarak dwarves . but what about Mountian dwarves? or Shield Dwarves etc... been saying this awhile . Im sure they will get to it eventually .

Personally, I always thought they simply misspelled ICONOCLAST when they made the Iconic race+class options.
