First question: do you have a DEX tome? Remember that you still need base DEX 19 for Improved Precise Shot and DEX 21 for Combat Archery feats, so it's not like you can dump-stat DEX even with Knowledge of Battle.

Second question: do you have monk? Even if not making a FvS monkcher like this build, FvS 17 / monk 2 / wiz or ftr 1 would have the same number of feats (albeit not necessarily the same feats) plus Evasion. You can either go the centered route to use stances or wear light armor for more PRR.

Finally: do you want to use FvS offensive spells as well? If so, then FvS 18 / monk or ftr 2 is worth considering so you can have Implosion; although squeezing in all the ranged + caster DPS feats you need is extra-challenging. OTOH if you just want heals+archery, that's actually easier to pull off. FvS 18 might still be worth considering just for Mass Heal; honestly I haven't been playing much DDO lately, I've no idea is MH is relevant again or not.

Vanguard build please

I am finishing my second Paladin life as a Human. I tried the "Steel Shrine" build https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...t=steel+shrine , this time, and it was a lot of fun.
So I have a bank full of really good heavy picks (Deathnips for heroic) and nice Epic picks up to TF. I also have nice bastard swords from the first life, including Epic First Blood. I don't have any good named shields, but I could farm for some on lvl 30 paladin before I ETR.

I wanted to try a pure paladin and the Vanguard stunning, with a shield sounds like fun.

Can anyone show me a build using a Vanguard Paladin? I saw the Sacred Vanguard and Ubongwa (esp) Kundarak Paladin which is looking promising.

Also, I have maxed out all the Destines to 6,000,000 and wanted recommendations on what to take as an Epic PL from one of those destinies.

Thanks much for this. It's fairly similar to what I had in mind, although I was thinking heavy armor instead of the monk armor with evasion. You pointed out some things that I hadn't considered with the haste boost and such. I think I'm going to give this one a try with my next TR. I wasn't really planning on using offensive casting, more healing with arrows to pass the time and help with CC. I have played a few healers recently and mass heal is still too slow to be useful in most situations so I won't really miss not having it.

I used to have a character that was like an unarmed clonk but used fvs instead of cleric levels. The result for casting was, I had more manna although less options, which was better for me. I appreciated the agility of the monk, do not like the slow and plodding heavy armor. I understand hybrids are tricky but would like to be halfway decent at melee and grab stunning fist, but willing to try other kinds of melee. I have a character with some fvs and wizard past lives and some tomes I used to use for these kinds of builds. I'm looking at the fvs/monk/fighter on this page, do you think that would suit this playstyle? Or something else? thanks.

Here is something a bit like a 12/6/2 Fighter/ranger/Art i have been contemplating. The idea is to use sniper shot and mercifull shot from deepwood and the ones from kensei. I have only tried the kensei part which is very effective when a mob gets less than 1/3 HP. This is the first time i try to make a build for somebody so please be gentle ;)

If you want to you can change the enhancements and go for more AC from stalwart defender and +10% faster run speed. Anyways here goes.

Looking for a vistani knife fighter undead killer

As the title states im looking for a vistani knife fighter undead hunter would prefer to use Aasimar but almost any race is available except for half elf, gnome deep gnome and and scourge aasimar i have 7 past lives plus 6 tomes my past lives are 1 bard 1 barb 2 pally 1cleric 1fighter and cant think of my last one right now sorry its a wall of text doing this from my cell phone

Returning to game - self buffing melee or ranged

I really enjoyed my dwarven throw your weight around swashbuckler, self buffing hand axer.

Also liked the acid build arcane archer

Simple to play, just a few situational hotkeys but still very synergistic.

Any similar recommendations? Not against an existing build, haven't been around since update 33.

Celestia Bard?

I know some of you will probably eye-roll at this...but I pulled a Celestia in an EE CitW, and wondering, since it seems based off light damage, is there a Bard build or Bard/Cleric build that would allow me to become amazing at undead content?

I was thinking Swashbuckling Bard, having the good spells (Displacement, GH, FoM, etc) with either a Cleric splash for Turn Undead (boosted to provide 6d6 light damage) and build it around light damage to boost Celestia or about rolling in Vistani for a dagger mainhand/celestia offhand, but that maybe a bit too much to chew on.

36 point, swash w/ buckler (I am uneducated about orbs, but if they can assist with light power, it wouldn't be ruled out)

Otherwise, Swashbuckling with Celestia looks like every other Swashbuckler build which takes Imp Crit Piercing.

Any of the classic builds still work fine. Nothing's been buffed since U31 made handaxe or light pick Swashbuckler / Kensei more powerful. Unless you want a Scourge build using light maces, that is...

Sorry, missed this post earlier.

This build would work fine for a rgr PL (arty 6 / ftr 6 / rgr 8); although since rgr provides two of the listed feats for free (Rapid Shot & Precise Shot), you might want to adopt a different leveling order. Maybe arty 1-2 / ftr 1-6 / rgr 1-4 / arty 3-6 / rgr 5-8 -> HTR? Use tier-5 Kensei when you reach level 12, then respec into tier-5 BE at lvl 16.

Hello first post here!
I'm looking for some help with the build for my next tr.

I'm returning from a 4 year stop and I have not yet fully get mastery with the new enhancement trees.

The character have 3 monk past life and will have 1 fighter pl too and
have all +3 tomes

I saw an old video of a build from Reiign that I wwould have loved trying

It has to be a 32pt build.

I'd need a high DPS build and would love if it is STR based, but it doesn't have to be STR.

I have access to everything in the game and got Supreme tomes +6 .

Iconic races: I will take an Iconic race and I have LR+1.

That's not the most informative video (says a lot about what it can do, not how it was done). But you can see the Tree layout, and he flashes briefly thru Feats @ about the 4:10 mark - pause the vid and make some notes, between that all it should be re-creatable without too much guesswork.
