Why do festivult twigs drop if the Risia alter is gone?

Since we do the Snowpeaks winter event now instead of the Risia one, there isn't any need for the Festivult twigs the Jester drops?

Easier to just let it lie, rather than go in and re-code?

I am pretty certain that the twigs were in Festivult from the outset, several years before Risia came about. as Ereshkigal mentioned, they (along with coal) were a "naughty" gift. Since people are still naughty they still make as much sense as when they were first coded.
