THF Paladin Shifter
Ignore that thread title... it is about Two Handed Fighting as a Paladin.
Passed level 10 the other day and having access to Ravenloft gear makes the combo of shifter and paladin excel even more.
Sure you have to pay attention in which sequence you tick off all the enhancements/spells, because rage.
Might pick up the meta magic feat extend somewhere as some of the spells is really short but then again, managed to do without so far so not really sure.
This is a fun combo that is surprisingly valid.
Oh, I have access to a sword of shadows, so yeah... that really helps.
Race: Shifter
Class: Paladin
Enhancements: Knight of the Chalice, Shifter
Of those worth noting: Holy Combatant because SoS.
Passed level 14 and the spell Holy Sword adds nicely with SoS, with the feat impr crit: slash it puts it at a nice 14-20 * 4, before all the special attacks I have at my disposal.
I'm not entirely sure how I get at that number.
Will look up a way to slot Sunder dc somewhere as the best attack makes use of it in its dc calculation.

Ok, this weekend I was able to hit level 29 and are a few quests away from hitting 30.
Won't spend much time hanging around at that level, will try to farm a few heroic item sets to make the next life as a paladin a bit more easy.
The biggest jumps in power was:
- Level 10 because both Ravenloft and SoS;
- Level 15 because of Sharn;
- Level 29 because of Legendary Sets;
- Level 20 is only a small jump because of access to esos, will have to put some fillies in it.
In contrast to above, the same newer content at those power jump levels are significantly harder to play through than older quests of that same level.

If you are using Shifter to get the PL's I wouldn't invest too much in the racial tree as a Paladin. You simply lose too much if you are attempting to rage while being a Paladin. You cannot use rage while Sacred Defense is active. So if you want to rage, your can't use SD. That means you lose all those amazing benefits from Sacred Defense. If you are a TWF build why are you using a THF weapon, or did you change over to THF? I'm not sure why you didn't see a major jump at 20 when you picked up your destiny. I always notice a major power increase once I hit 20. Though at this point I am running cha based over str based due to how good the illusionist tree is, and how well it works with Fate Singer. Greater Color Spray is incredibly powerful, and is worth taking if you are going cha based. It makes low level reaper incredibly easy, and it works all the way to 30. I'm sure Shifter is fun, but you are losing some of the power of Paladin for no real increase. Cheers.

Ok, that is weird. Pritty sure it said THF at one point in time. :(
No way to change the title of this thread tho.
Anyway yes, its a THF build. Just focused on KotC and Shifter tree.
Up to level 10 I use a great axe and then switch to SoS.
I'll tr again soon.

Small update, now that I am on my 3th iteration of this build, second racial life as I also had a paladin life to do.
Still pure paladin, still thf.
Made some small variations in the trees but most points still go into:
1) KotC
2) Shifter
Switched deity from Silver-flame to Vol as The blood is the life's +4 con really ticks with this build, downside is that it has a lengthy cooldown.
From Shifter Exceptional shifting's +5% Quality Bonus to Maximum Hit Points and Hardy's +3 con.
Have my ESoS stacked with a 5 piece Blood Feast filigree set, +1000 hp at level 30 (tho +0 at level 20) is very nice.
The raised concerns of raging and casting spells is "easily" mitigated as the spells this build is focused on are for 90% cast at the entrance of the dungeon.

Another update, will/just hit level 10 on my 4th iteration of this build.
Not sure if I'll do the push to 30 this time but we'll see once I hit 20.
So far I have to say there is enough content for each iteration to be different for the larger part of running through it.
(On a char with just about every xp bonus available except for pots, with pots it would be even more diverse.)
