Does it work with a Quarterstaff?

Assassin's Venomed Blades or Alchemist's Deadly Poison Enhancement Line?

I'm not certain about Assassin , but the poison enhancement does work with Alchemist, but keep in mind that it's only the first hit, at least as far as I can see.
