What is the name of the feat or enhancement that allows a rogue to auto detect a trap without having to click on the search glass?
There is the one in later levels called watchful eye, ML 27
some of the various elven (drow, elf, etc.) racial enhancements and SDK have it and it is called 'nothing is hidden.'
Racial Enhancement: Nothing is Hidden (Tiers I, II, II)
Available to: Elf, Drow, Morninglord & Shadar-kai
Epic Feat: Watchful Eye
Available to: Level 27
Just as a point of information, if your Spot isn't high enough to notice the trap, the auto-detect won't work even if your Search is through the roof, so don't neglect it thinking you'll see every trap automagically.
It's been a while since I used Nothing is Hidden, but back when I did, it didn't seem to perform well with clusters of traps.
Sometimes it wouldn't locate all of them even when they were all in range. This was on a character with high spot and search so I don't think the problem was not being able to hit the required DCs.

Thanks to all on the feedback. I just notice that some rogues by running by a trap box it just exposes itself as if it was searched.
FYI - I never neglect my spot it is always upgraded just like my other trapping skills.
It works well with clusters of floor traps. (ex. Bear Traps in the Anniversary dungeon and the explosion traps in Undermine.)Quote:
